Riddle me this!

If I were to have my immediate family all over for a holiday there would be 28 of us. Unfortunarely that is a veryrare occasion because everyone is spread around now. This Sunday it's just the 5 of us & my parents for dinner then DHs family, 10 people, are coming for dessert because it's the twins birthday.
Gina-Congrats to Matt on the Gold time!!

Diane.....believe me, I didn't think I would ever host a house party for 34! A few are friends....but the rest are relatives!

And everyone lives locally!

It'll be fun. My sister and I do parties. We love 'em!

Malibu rum punch with fresh fruit should put everyone in a good frame of mind! That and gorgonzola stuffed olives in a nice little martoooni!

Yes....I missed the gold swim. It's okay, though. My husband videod it so I got to watch it. I wish I had seen Matt's reaction, though. Fred said it was priceless!

Bernie...you and the riddlers are most welcome. Please just bring a bottle of your favorite libation. We have enough food for double the amount of people.

Only one ham, though........unless you're joining us, Bernie....:teeth:

Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine

I need to laugh and when the sun is out
I've got something I can laugh about
I feel good in a special way
I'm in love and it's a sunny day

Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine

We take a walk, the sun is shining down
Burns my feet as they touch the ground

Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine

Then we'd lie beneath the shady tree
I love her and she's loving me
She feels good, she knows she's looking fine
I'm so proud to know that she is mine.

Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine

Congrats to Matt.....Ralph.......and everyone else who had accomplishments this past week!!!!!

I'm there at Gina's bash........I'll even bring food.........hey, I'm Italian too!! From our perspective, NJ is local!!!

Diane - I heard about your weather today and I'm very jealous....but not of the pending snow! There was a local dog show very near my house this weekend. I enjoy seeing the RV's and cars from different places....and the owners out exercising their dogs!

Lars!!! You can't just ditch your family!!!

Stop by here first! :p :p :p

Me? A ham???? HA!! Whatever gave you that notion, Gina??!!! :p :p

Great looking bike, Sandi! I do imagine it will see many miles with you! :)

We are going to be a small groupl for Easter dinner, but we certainly will have a busy day! DS and his SO and our DD will be here for dinner. Then in the afternoon, three of us will take a two hour drive up to DH's mom's for a couple hours, and then drive two hours back! Seems like a long ways to go for a short time, but can't be helped, because SIL and her family can't go up for the holiday this year, and we don't want Mom to be alone.

Mickey - enjoy that sunny day! :)

We're heading to near 70 today.

We're also heading to Mom's for Easter Dinner. First, we have an Easter Egg hunts in the yard for several of the neighborhood kids. That is always a lot of fun! :)

I forgot to tell all of you what we saw out at our new place over the weekend. There was a BALD EAGLE circling around overhead one afternoon! BEAUTIFUL!

A real bald eagle, Diane??? I don't know that I've ever seen one.

Easter egg hunts are a riot. The kids just love them!

I'd love to have you all here for Easter. Heck, I'm just a party girl at heart....

Uh....Bernie.....got a bit of Spring Fever today???? That or Sun stroke????

:teeth:

Yep, a REAL bald eagle! There are a lot of them up here, but we don't often see them this far from the river or this close to civilization.

Welcome back, Bernie, nice to see you. Hope Sharon and the kids are better also. :sunny:

I use plastic eggs, filled with jelly beans. Each kid has a specific color egg they have to find. That makes it fair for the little ones.

And I set out one special egg with a couple of bucks in it.

They really do enjoy it! And it's really neat to see them all in their easter finery romping around the yard. :)

Gina - I am so ready to have some nice weather!!!! :p :p

That's neat about the eagle, Diane!

Hiya, Dan! We're all feeling much better. We were, I think, ping-ponging that bug back and forth all week!

By the lloks of Laura's picture, it looks like you had a great time in the world too! Welcome back! :)

OK, the kids in the neighborhood must love you! What a neat tradition!

You know....color designation is a good idea....I usually have the kids divide the eggs before they open them so everyone has an equal amount.

I can't do candy. My nephew is allergic to corn products and milk. And cornsyrup is in all candy. So I'll do coins and tatoos....we've also decided to string trinkets from the bushes....pencils, markers, yoyos....
