morning everyone....

made the mistake of going back to bed after I shipped off DH at 5:30...took the paper and a cup of coffee and then snoozed for another hour.

My brain still hurts from the kid's homework assignment last night - but thanks to Kim - finally got it (see post on comm bd)

Our temps have dropped like 30 degrees since last night - the wind was blowing pretty bad all night

Diane, you are right, there is no birthday listed in my profile. I have trouble with "big to dos" being made about my birthday. I always have. Most of the time I have it there in case people want to know how old I am, but I do take it out certain times of the year. So I will quietly admit yes it is my birthday Dang the side of me that can't lie.

CRB, so sorry about your car!! That really stinks! I had that happen to me about 6 months after I bought my car. Now my car is over three years old and the crack in the bumper and tiny dent is still there. The body shop my family uses and likes told me that in about a year the bumper price will go down on my car so I will fix it then I think

I hope yours is fixed soon though!!!

CRB, that is too bad about your car. The first dent is always the worst. Hope you can get it taken care of.

A wager between some Riddleconners?? I must have missed something yesterday. I will have to go check it out.

Today are the try-outs for All County Band. Both of my kids will be auditioning between 10 and 11 this morning. So, if you have any calming good thoughts for Sarah and Andrew at that time, I would appreciate it. Neither think they will make it this year because the music is so hard. I just want them to try.

No clue on the riddle. I will keep thinking on it.

Wow.....a little late start this AM and lots to read!!! Yesterday was fun reviewing our respective nostolgic moments!!! Having been seen in the Magic Mirror surely made me a better Do Bee (at least for yesterday)!!!

Lars - congrats on your son's hockey game! My nephew is 8 and just started playing....I think I'm more nervous than HE is at his games!!!

Mickey - Glad to hear that Lucy's home safe and sound!

Gail - yes....the forcast for NYC looks pretty good for the weekend...we're having pretty bad weather now, although it's 40 degrees it's going to drop to the teens tonight.... where in the ciry will you be? Taking in any shows?
