Good luck to Sarah and Andrew on their tryouts this morning! I was helping a clarinet student get ready for the same thing during her lesson last night! Unfortunately, she had practiced one portion wrong, so we had to "reprogram" it into her head correctly!

Sorry about the ding in your new car CRB. I have found that no matter how far away I try to park from other cars when I have a new vehicle, I bet someone always parks beside me!

It was so calm when I took Dan in for his early band practice at 7 o'clock this morning, but it's starting to look nasty out now. I have to pick up a travel golf bag, on loan from a local golf shop, for Dh as he is going to Mexico City tomorrow on business and of course MUST try and fit in a game! Better get going!

Good morning all! Clueless here!

Both kids are home today because the buses were cancelled. We had freezing rain last night, it has changed to rain, the temp is going to plummet during the day and it will change to snow. It's very windy too and going to get worse. I wish that they'd close the mall so that I don't have to go to work at 5. I mean, who in their right mind is going to be out shopping in weather like this!?

Diane, I would have loved to have gotten them lessons to help them with the music. Their middle school teacher always really worked with them and helped them. Now in high school, they are kind of on their own to muddle through as best as they can.

last night was DS11 first concert with the school band. All the kids start instrumentals in 5th grade, and last night was their first "public" performance.
They did really well, considering it's only been 6 months....sheesh...seems much longer than that when you have a percussionist in the house....lol

Morning Riddlers!

What a change in weather from the past few days. My son put the garbage cans and the recycling bins out by the curb last night. When I heard the wind howling - I knew those plastic milk cartons would NOT stay inside the bin! Sure enough - not a trace of them this morning!
