Morning all! We have a heat wave today here too! IT is supposed to be in the mid 30s unfortunately snow is to follow. The laugh I had today was while watching the news, they described our weather like Cedar Point... up and down (okay it was funnier when he said it )

Laura, so glad that it went well for you DH at work yesterday! That's great news and I hope that things continue to go well.

Gail I hope your DS stays feeling well too

Okay, the riddle this morning is driving me crazy. I think I see things and then my eyes play tricks on me. Maybe I'll blame my inability to get this one on being dyslexic and having a hard time reading all caps (yeah that's it!! )

Now it's a riddle!

Many monns ago I went on a business trip to New Orleans and brought my DW along. We happened to be there whe Hurricane Andrew came through town. We were locked in to our hotel overnight while the storm raged outside. The next morning we heading out, very early, to do some exploring and ended up down at the Cafe Dumond. There was quite a bit of windblown debris, but the town came through it pretty well, with no major damage (at least as I remember). We pulled up a chair at the cafe, ordered up Cafe Au Lait and Beignets and watched the city wake up. Truly a wonderful moment.
