Riddle me this!

Hey Tuli! Always nice to see you on the riddle!

I can stay late! Some days I'm up until 8, even 9 o'clock! ;)

Have a GREAT weekend! :)

Hi Tullirose !

Plumber is done so I am free ..... got some done around the house and took in 2 episodes of ER on TNT ...... I don't know
why I watch shows that make me cry (and of course it was
a rerun so I knew it would too !)

I think wedgie dances just come naturally and find it somewhat scary that there is a virtual wedgie page:eek: :) :p

And when I see thongs I think .. who would want to pay for a
wedgie ????

I see you opted for daytime TV, spb! :) Glad you're all set again!

Funny thing about crying and TV shows. My wife cries really easily at TV shows and movies. She cries during Barney Miller episodes...:p

It has gotten to the point now where we'll all be sitting watching a show on TV and when the emotional part comes on, we all take a peek over to see if she's crying. :)

Around here we refer to them as "butt floss" :p

Hi Tuli!!! We're always peeking in in the afternoon & the last few days people have been hanging around the riddle in the evening too!:D

Bernie-your wife & I could watch TV together and cry at all the same spots! I get a bit teary at commercials sometimes!!

Another afternoon "check in"! I cry at commercials, too! And then laugh at myself cuz I cried!!! Our weekend looks like it will be a DIS weekend...there are two Chicago DIS meets..pizza tonight and the Lion King tomorrow!

Have a wonderful weekend all!!!! :)

Butt floss .... I like that one !
The things you learn around here :p

we're definately more rambuncious in the morning, and my afternoon time is divide between doing those things that make my DH actually thing I've been doing something, and checking back to see what craziness our riddle thread has taken on...

Happy Friday dance......you don't do the wedgie dance if you don't wear underwear... LOL......

and thongs...well that's just wrong!!!!

gotta go put the F****** Ziti in the oven.(DH's favorite line from the first 4 episodes of Sopranos) course if my DS talked like that I'd smack him too.....

enough ramblin....gotta run...
Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

S

Glad the plumber came and fixed that leak for ya, spb999. Too bad he/she (gotta be politically correct) can't do anything about the leaks those tearducts of ours get.

Chicago is gonna be one hopping DIS town this weekend.

So, Oldkick - Gina's picking on me again. Can I get back at her?... like maybe tomorrow? LOL

The delivery men just left. We got a new dining room set and I forgot how beautiful the set was that we ordered. It was WAY past time to get rid of the hand-me-down, ugly, three different-sets-of-chairs monstrosity that we had previously. Okay, new rule in Tuli-household now is: NO EATING IN THE DINING ROOM!!!! (It's too nice to eat on) LOL

Thongs!! I agree, they are just wrong but please tell me, WHY are men so infatuated with them???

Gotta run out and do some errands I couldn't do earlier and then I gotta put my china in my NEW china cabinet!!! **SMILES**

The morning riddle is starting to turn into an all day event every day.

LOL, Tuli! I'll get back to you on that! :)

Congrats on the new dining room set.....did you get a table pad for it? We got a new set years ago and only take the pad off when company's coming....

The all-day-riddle is a pretty interesting phenomenon, isn't it??

Actually, some of them are very comfortable. But I believe "most" men are infatuated with them because they don't have to wear them. Ooops, was this a secondary riddle, and I wasn't supposed to post?????

Last time I was at Va Beach and Clearwater Beach, signs specifically outlawing them were post all over. Sunburnned buns, not a pleasant feeling.

Now back to the regular riddle.

Oh boy, now I can get dressed----I got on the computer late today couldn't post until afternoon-------and I've just been waiting around for my PANTS.

This is lots of fun...

PattyN

First and foremost - Welcome Back Laura (DblD).....we missed you!!

Commercials make me cry too........especially Hallmark ones!!!

Tuli - Once you decide on your final china placement be sure to take a picture of your china cabinet. I learned that trick from a friend after I'd take stuff out for a holiday and spend hours trying to put it back so it all fits and I liked how it looked!

We have the same description of thongs in my family too...at least the female members!!!!

Have fun at all the meets to those who are going. I'm hoping to meet some of the ladies from southeastern MA in early March.

Have a great weekend everyone!

We're glad you're here, Patty! :)

I, for one, am very glad I don;t have to wear a thong. I'd be worried all day.

I see that the riddle merriment has continued on again today!:jester:

I'm a member of the "cry at tv shows and commercials" club too! The Disney ones always make me cry, but I'm not sure it's not because I want to be there SO badly!

Hi Tuli and Patty! Always nice to see you!

As for thongs, the only kind I want anything to do with are the kind you thing. You know, thing, thing a thong, thing out loud, thing out long!;)

Okay, Okay.....I have to do a story here. DH and I were on a cruise awhile back.....a real, long while back.....try 1984ish. We cruised to St. Maartin and the first place DH wanted to hit was Orient Beach (for those of you who don't know Orient Beach....it's a bathing suit optional beach and at the time had a resort catering to au natural sun bathing.

Well, DH couldn't wait....he flung off his clothing so quickly...it was a riot! Never one to be left behind....I followed. We had no towels, no suntan lotion....no nuthin! But we had a blast!

DH mostly relaxed on his tummy....me, just the opposite. Well...late in the day we trooped back to the ship. DH was DISTINCTLY UNCOMFORTABLE. He was wiggling all over the place.....just couldn't sit still....FOR DAYS!!!!!

YOU GUESSED IT! HE HAD SUNBURNED BUNS!!!!

So the next time you think of thongs, think of sunburned buns.

I sure do!!! :teeth:

I am an easy cry at sentimental things on TV. And, any time a dog dies on TV, I cry.

LOL Gina! That reminds me of the time Len and I were in Jamaica. The resort we stayed at had a clothing optional beach on an island just off shore. There was a couple there on their honeymoon, and they spent their first day on that beach. After that they were both so burned that they couldn't stand to be touched by anything or anyone! Must have been a great honeymoon! ;)
