Good morning all! Clueless and COLD here this morning. It's a good thing I don't have to go to work today since I'll probably remain pantless!

Glad to hear that your Dad is coming home today Bernie! Both he and your Mom will be relieved. I sometimes think it's harder on the spouse that's NOT in the hospital than it is on the one that is.

Sandi! Great to see you this morning! Glad to hear that you're having such a good time and that you enjoyed a pina colada for me!

Lars, I'm sorry you had to cancel but I'm sure it won't be long before you're planning the next one.

Have a great day tomorrow Breezy! The kids must be so excited about that!

Have a safe trip DblD. I hope it won't be too bad a drive over to Seattle, and that the plane takes off safely and on time. Good luck with your presentation, and enjoy that big dinner!

That B&B is just a couple of hours from me too. I love that area of the province. We've camped at Bruce National Park a few times and just love it up there!

Gina...I was LOL (really laughing...not giggle...but laughing) over your comment on the I love Bernie thread......
Let me also add, since I didn't have time last night.....I too look forward to a cup of coffee each morning and kibitzing with my riddle friends.....Bernie, as well as all of you here in the mornings are a great way to start the day! Thanks everyone!

Bernie, glad to hear your dad is coming home, that is generally the best medicine. Thoughts and prayers for a continued speedy recovery.

John.....thanks for sharing.....you created a funny visual for me this morning.....(John and I have been sharing "Tattoo" stories..thanks to Glo) And so you don't all feel left out...lol....the story of why Boo'sMom doesn't have a tattoo:

DH and I went to Vegas in '99 and renewed our wedding vows...with Elvis!!!! It was soooo much fun. I had said all along that after we renewed our vows I wanted to get a tattoo.....the City of Sin, what better place than Vegas, right?
Well, after our ceremony, we had the limo drop us off in the middle of downtown Vegas.....not a nice neighborhood....but we picked what looked like the biggest tattoo parlor there was and went in.
DH and I were thumbing through the designs, although I already knew what I wanted....DH asked the guy behind the counter if we could see the work stations....so we go through the glass bead curtain (no kidding) to the back room....it was actuall about 12 work stations and extremely clean.....we decide this place is okay, so we go back out front to pick our designs out. The guy that was with us said "I'll be right back"....after about 10-15 minutes we figure he's never coming back....so we go back to the work area looking for someone (there must have been 6-8 people back there when we first looked) and NO-ONE was around..the place was completely cleared out.
So I turn around to look at DH and for the first time notice what he is wearing.....a grey t-shirt that says "Portsmouth Police:Special Emergency Tactical Response Team".....as best we can figure they thought it was some sort of sting operation and when they noticed DH's t-shirt they cleared out....LOL....we still laugh about it today....sad part of the story: no tattoo, and we had to walk from the tattoo parlor back to the casino.....LOL

Checked out the clue....still pantless here and think it will probably stay that way for a while.
We all slept in waaaaaay too long today. Gotta get some alternate pants before the Town Road Agent comes to repair my mailbox today.....they took it right off the post last big snow storm.

LOL Boo's Mom! My DH makes some people nervous too. He looks, walks and talks like a cop, so of course people assume he IS a cop. He used to be one and will always act like one.

I looked up Antony too. Lots of interesting info but I'm still clueless!

DH used to be a police officer, and for some reason they never lose that "walk" or maybe I should say swagger....

Mine's not as funny as Boo'sMom's , (but I did warn Glo!) and since she showed us hers, here's mine!
I went to a tattoo parlor about 25 years ago with an SO & a female friend. They were a bit less clean then & more scary.
The girl friend had a bar fly friend who was going to get a free tattoo (a cover-up for an old girl friends name LOL) for referring the two ladies.
When we got there everyone was a bit nervous except for the burly referral guy who had several tattoos already.
He decided to go first to show the ladies how easy it was (and because he was worried the artist would stiff him for his free one, if he was last)!
He got in the chair and as soon as the the artist hit him with the needle, the burly guy passed out & slid out of the chair!
The artist ( his nick-name was Painless John LOL) explained 'that was why you don't want to be drinking before you get a tattoo' (and this guy HAD)!
Come to find out, it is major trauma to the body. Like multiple bee stings. The needle strikes you literally thousands of times during a normal tattoo.
Despite this setback, the ladies went ahead & got their's with no problems. And tattoo boy got his freebee at the end!
It was quite an experience!

Tim went on a school trip to a sports camp up in the Lion's Head area where they also explored some interesting caves and grottos. He took some beautiful pictures of the area.
