Riddle me this!

Welcome Back Kim!:D

Couldn't get out of bed this morning, and I'm clueless.

HEY!!.......
I need a little help from my friends:confused:

Morning Riddle Crew...

Hmmm ... cloudy days seems like all we've had around here lately.
Plus, we just got our daily sprinkle of snow.

Seems like every day this week we've gotten another 1"-3" or so of snow, as if someone just sprinkles it over our area like powdered sugar on French Toast ...

Looks nice but makes for a LONG drive into work...of well, guess you can't have your French Toast and eat it too... LOL

Happy HuMp Day Everyone!

:D :D :D

Morning I think

Sent in a pm - not sure of what kind of answer I will get

Sitting here yawning and groaning - can I just go back to bed

Have a good day

Good morning everyone!

Here's my contribution to Boosmom:

In ancient times there was a community known as the Goodnu's. As all communities did in these times the Goodnu's lived right on the river bank for trading, transportation and sustenance. Water was almighty and worshipped as a God. One day there was a tremendous hurricane far out in the ocean. It's ferocity blew a large flock of "Foo" birds way off course sending them inland many hundreds of miles and in the vicinity of the Goodnu's community. The Goodnu people had never seen a "Foo" bird and were quite curious as to it's sudden and obviously evil presence. The "Foo" bird, as we all know, is a very ugly, evil-looking bird. This caused the Goodnu people to become very uneasy believing they did something wrong to God and that this bird should be avoided. One day a "Foo" bird flew overhead and screeched: "Foo, Foo" and pooped on a Goodnu's head. The man ran screaming into the river believing the Holy powers of the river would cleanse him of this evil turd and its consequences. As soon as the man washed this unholy turd from his ear canal he suddenly keeled over and died. The Goodnu's were now convinced of the "Foo" bird's evilness. The next day a woman was outside and heard: "Foo, Foo". Before she could react the "Foo" bird dropped a bomb landing a syrupy turd across her face. Shocked and panicked she ran into the river furiously washing her face of this sloppy stew. The village watched in horror as this woman also died once cleansed of the runny turd. The very next day a village wiseman heard those famous words: "Foo, Foo". He like others had witnessed the terrible deaths of two of his villages' people in the last two days. He too was struck right in the forehead by the "Foo" birds accurately guided turd missile. His first reaction was confusion and he sprinted towards the river. However, he stopped short and thought of his obvious demise should he cleanse the turd wafer from his forehead. He did not cleanse the poo pile from his forehead and lived. So the wiseman went to the other people of the village, gathered them around and stated to them: "There is an obvious lesson here my good people. The moral of this story is:

'If the Foo sh*ts, wear it.'".

Okay... that is it for me - no more jokes (PLEASE THEY SAY!).

First guess at the riddle sent. Expecting IHSEIM but you never know.

Hey thanks everyone.....I'm feeling better......must be a combination of stress and crappy weather....

Peeked back in to check on the riddle cast and see if the corny jokes were over!!!!!!

awww....shucks. :p :p :) :)

Tx - they've been calling for 1-3 every day this week! We've just gotten a dusting here too (love that description). I think they outlawed publishing those bad puns way back in 1967. So all those books are oldies....:)

Kim - I will admit to acting a little loopy at times...

Serena - you're welcome! Most folks run away when I start with those jokes!!

I'll have to see if I can come up with another clue, Lars....I think I've tried them for pretty much every direction! :)

Welcome back KIM!!! Glad you are on the mend. :)

Well... I got the IHSEIM as expected. Guess I need to swill down my cup of coffee and see if I can get the brain in gear.

Good morning everyone!

A green frog, named Rocko Jagger, hops into a bank, jumps up on the counter and says to the teller, "I want a loan."

The teller says, "You'll have to see the loan officer. Her office is down the hall and the name on the door says "Patricia Wack."

So the frog hops off the counter, down the hall and to Mrs. Wack's office. He jumps up on her desk and says, "I want a loan." Mrs. Wack, quite puzzled, gives the standard line, "We must have something to secure the loan, some collateral."

At that the frog pulls out a ceramic lion, places it on her desk and repeats that he wants a loan.

So Patricia picks up the ceramic lion, goes in to the bank president's office, places the ceramic lion on his desk, and tells him, "I have this frog in my office who says he wants a loan, and this is what he has to secure it. I don't even know what this thing is."

The bank president looks at the ceramic lion, looks at Mrs. Wack, looks back at the ceramic lion and finally says,

"It's a knick-knack, Patty Wack. Give the frog a loan, his old man's a Rolling Stone."

Welcome back Kim!

You guys are in great form this morning!:jester: :jester: :jester:

Those clues aren't helping yet -- maybe I'll go ponder over a cup of coffee. It's French Vanilla (my usual choice at the office); anybody want some? There's plenty to go around. :)

If you heard any loud noises around this time yesterday, it was just me, kicking and screaming, coming into my office for the first time since before Christmas. It's amazing how much stuff can pile up in two weeks!
