Morning all - I hear everyone about the exta sleep - I laid there forever listening to the alarm buz before finally rolling over and shutting it off

Last day of school here - have a grumpy kid on my hands this am - heaven knows why - must be the hormones again - sigh

My DD enjoys it a lot! She's gotten pretty good at it. My other DD has started violin this year. They play little duets for us now. Things like Mary Had A Little Lamb....it's pretty neat.

I will be sure to check for a riddle each morning next week, but my time here will be limited too, since I feel like I am chasing my tail these days! Reminds me of the pups when they try to catch their tail! That is really a difficult task for an Airedale, since their tails are docked to 2/3 their original length!

Okay....DH is off for the day......now just 2 kids to ship to school, and Boo's going with a GF today so I can finish S-A-N-T-A shopping while I take my disabled neighbor out for his shopping.
Course now it is freezing rain here in NH....grrrrrr.....
School parties this afternoon, have to come home and make cookies, and bring that back to school.
Boys will be packing tonight for the hike tomorrow, and I think I'm going to buy the supplies to make a gingerbread house with everyone on Sunday.
How long is this hiatus going to be OK?? I might have some serious withdrawal going on......maybe we'll need a "Non-riddle me this" for the morning kibitzing.
Gina....very creative use of the name......I personally think alternate pants were in order...

Good morning riddlers !!

Will catch up on the whole thread later but just thought I'd share with you why I didn't get any pants yesterday ......
the only thing I was 'gazing' at was "Quick! What is it ?", not all the instructions too .... so when I first saw the answer this morning I said to myself "There's no Z, in Quick What is it !" ...
(not to mention a lot of others missing) ..... but then suddenly
the light came on and i smacked myself on the head like I should've had a V8 ....

And now I need to start thinking about canaries

How neat that you take care of your neighbor, Boo'sMom! I wanna move to your neighborhood!

My DD's are having school parties today too. Then they're watching a movie. Then they're cleaning up their homerooms.

Not the most productive day of school this year, but what the heck - it is the holidays.

I'll certainly be around to kibitz most every day over the next couple of weeks. I just may not be able to pull of a riddle each day.

It's going to be a busy time around here!
