LOL Diane-I'm cooking for a smalll group too. DH, DD13, DS13, DS6 and my parents. My niece and her DH & DD will be joining us for dessert though. My MIL is on a Hawaiian cruise for the holidays, FIL doesn't travel with her but he will be eating at my SIL's house.

for adding an additional little B&B this morning. Today I am making Squash Bisque, from the Three Chimneys Inn Durham, NH.

Ingredients:
2 pounds peeled and seeded butternut squash
5 cups chicken stock
1/2 cup brown sugar
Nutmeg to taste
Cinnamon to taste
Simmer squash with the chicken stock until the squash is very soft. Remove from heat and place into blender; on high speed, whip in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. An optional third step would be to add heavy whipping cream and roasted seeds at the end for garnish.


This is a heavenly soup, and a wonderful appetizer. The inn is fabulous too. If you're ever near coastal NH, check them out. Rumor has it, Felicia Rashad (mom on Cosby Show) is a part owner of this fine establishment.

Hi Diane,
The 2 that have it are much better. Dr. saw them at 9 yesterday and put them on erythromiacin (sp) SIX times a day. So they both look pretty good this morning.
Dear MIL won't let me think of not coming....ugh.

Bernie - I think you got it wrong about WDW. When I was down there I heard it was OKW they were tearing up. You were right, it WAS something about the sewer system!

Diane - Not to worry, you'll be a veteran by then! You won't have any problem with the porta pottys I'm thinkin'

Gina - I for one would NEVER question what you were saying! If you said it was burning, I'd spray it just to save MYSELF from getting burned

Debster812 - thank you & all the other riddlers (& non-riddler lurkers!) for reading my reports! They were a labor of love as well as a way of reminiscing about the trip (& fighting those post trip blues )

Lars- To answer your question, didn't you get my PM? I'll be bringing the yepod clan over for dinner tomorrow!

I am going to go vacuum part of the house before work. I have to drive to Baltimore to pick up my mom tonight. Lars, I am cooking for my family of 4, my mom, and my brother, his wife, and 2 kids.
