Good morning OK and the Corral

You all are a wild bunch today. Must be because it is Friday and next week is a short week. Between Thanksgiving and election day and professional days, this was the only full week of school in November for my kids.

Mickey, some people just don't think or have to place blame somewhere. It is too bad she couldn't show some compassion.

Diane, any idea what the ropes are in the picture? Is that where you tie up the dogs? LOL

I don't know if any of you saw my post over the weekend but the pastor of my church was arrested for cocaine possession in September and the story just leaked out Saturday to the congregation. Part of the church is supporting him and part want to see him gone. Last night a member came over to talk to us about the problem. A very bad situation, and right before Christmas. What a mess!

I believe I have the answer, as I used this as a riddle last summer. PM sent.

Good morning everyone! I managed to see most of your pics Diane by just putting the properties into the address line of another internet explorer window. Looking AWESOME!

Didn't sleep well last night - but I am only in the office for a half day - taking the car in for routine servicing this afternoon - so I think I will survive.

Lots to do this weekend... not nearly as fun as the Chicago shopping trip though. Not a single naked theatre show to attend either. (thank goodness!)

The closest I have come to that - is seeing the "Full Monty" performed on Broadway in New York last year. The naked scene only lasted a brief moment right at the end... and they flash the house lights at you ... so you are basically blinded and don't see anything. It was a hoot though.

Sent my PM.... waiting for my prancing pants... so I don't have to do my own version of the naked theatre at work today.

I may not be around much next week. I have the whole week off , and DS is having his lower wisdom teeth removed Monday morning at 7:15. He's looking forward to milkshakes and lots of intensive sleeping.

Good Morning and Happy Friday to all.

No matter how early I get here, you guys are going full blast!

In regards to the log home picture, I was also curious as to the reason for the rope around the *unstripped* upright logs. Great photo BTW.

Two servicemen have come and gone already this a.m. The sprinkler guy and a different bathroom guy. My bathroom has been put on hold because the granite counter top was defective and has to be reordered and the marble windowsill and door saddle were MIA and are being reordered. A few other small items but we had someone come back this a.m. because the shower water is only lukewarm. DH and DS love their hot showers in the a.m. and this was totally unacceptable. Also, the GIF (GAF? - some sort of initials) electrical outlet was not working so he fixed that too. (Was never hooked up to circuit breaker). I hope this is done by Christmas.

Have to work today and next Friday to make up staying home Monday and Tuesday.

Oh, and as usual, I have no clue in regards to the riddle.

In answer to CarolG...The log trucks with the house arrive one a day and will be unloaded and stacked the day they arrive. The schedule as of now is, Dec. 2,3,5,and 10. They need some extra time before they get that last truck of roof members and trusses. I suppose many of you will be at DIS CON then. I will "log" on with a new thread on the 2nd and will update for all those log home owner wannabes.
