Light houses today!!! Dark as can be out here yet! Don't you just love this time of year in the north? It is dark for a couple hours after I get up and dark before DH gets home from work! I always notice a significant difference in daylight when we head down to Florida in January.

Lars, good to hear your elbow is doing a little better.

Gina...That trip report will NOT do! We need more!

And, John, where is that tome your were going to write about your trip?

Can you tell I am getting anxious to be in WDW?

Lars, my whole life is confused....and yet ever hopeful! It's part of the human condition around here. My home is always in confusion and I'm ever hopeful it will just straighten itself up!

I think I'd milk that elbow for whatever it's worth. Hey....YOU DESERVE IT!

Diane....I think you should denand that the head of the construction crew give you his cell phone number. Call him every time you have a client arriving. That'll teach them to mess with you!!!!

LOL, Gina! Yesterday he knocked on the grooming room door and said he would try to give me 48 hours notice before they had to dig the 30 foot hole in the middle of our driveway! I assume that means that they wont be finishing anytime soon! Bernie, it wasn't this week they were to be done, but by Thanksgiving. Yesterday, he told me they were already 2 days behind! Not sure how that can be, but that's what he said!

LOL Gina!! I have three kids so I know about a confusing house
When my Doctor sad I could start using my arm again I said "Awww, too bad, DH cooked dinner & did the dishes the other day" & my Doc said exactly what you did "Milk it for 6 months" LOL!!
I have a girl's weekend away in Chicago planned for next weekend ss I'll need to use it to carry shopping bags at Bloomingdales and the Disney Store etc.....

Amid - Have fun! Several years back, when one of my 2 was in elementary school, we went to plant trees for reforestation, IN THE RAIN. Needless to say, a bunch of mud covered kids and adults returned to the school.

If you all are not going to do better with your trip reports, you won't be allowed to go to DISCon.

That diner looks good, and close enough to try. I'll have french toast.

I don't know this riddle and am not sure I have the motivation to work on it, so I'll just visit.

I'm here! I'm here!!!!! Good morning all!! No pm sent. No clue. No time to play.

My problem yesterday apparently was Len! He turned up the security on our computer in a bid to stop all of the pop ups that are suddenly flooding our computer even when the internet isn't on. Trouble was, he turned it up so high that I couldn't log on anywhere that used my address. does anyone know of a free download that will get rid of the problem? NOT Len! The pop ups!

Lars, glad to hear that your elbow is getting better, but another vote here for milking it!

Morning all in Riddleland. As always, I am clueless. So, as BreezyCarol said: I'll just visit.

I have the next few days off because we are finally having our small bathroom renovated!! YAY!!! DH was off on Monday and took off yesterday for the beginning work. I get these next two days and both of us will be home on Friday - How sweet!!

I see Gina is causing a bit of a ruckus.

I hope everyone has a great day. I'll be hanging around here most likely all day while at the same time trying to get some indoor chores done. Wish the weather was better. Those leaves are piling up high out there....

heeheehee - I know how to push her buttons and mom's not home!!!

So the guy came late and I mentioned how we want the medicine cabinet higher than what it had been because DH and I are tall and he said yes, he planned for that. Then all of a sudden he realizes that he needs to look at the light fixture we picked out and he realized that he placed the electric box too low for this particular light fixture so now he has to recut the new wallboard and move that box. ***BIG SIGH*** Why couldn't hubby get him to do it right YESTERDAY before the wallboard went up!?!

But we are impressed with the neatness of his work and prior to today, he did seem to know what he is doing.

Getting lots of paper work done. (In other words, the shredder is working overtime today!)

I'm always impressed when a workMAN is neat. It's not in their blood, I swear. Now if we could just get them to the point of NOT cutting a hole in the ceiling BEFORE they figure things out.....
