Riddle me this!

I do not like splash because of the drop and feeling like I am not going to stay in my seat........BTMRR is just fast and jerky....I can handle that.......I do tower of terror because I can hold onto that bar and I know i won't fall out......scared the bejeebies out of me.......NOW RNR I did it because my husband made fun of me in front of some people in line.......can you believe it......so a little kid called me a woos......so I did it....and I can't believe it....it was a blast......you do not go high in the air.....number one reason why I like it......number two is that nice holding device that is on the thing that goes over my head......nice feeling ......so secure....similiar to the thing at Alien Encounter.....I wish they could do that on splash mt.....then I may like it........hubby and I may decide to try Space mt this trip.......this our old age creeping up on us ......I am doing more.......hahaha....

The first few moments on RnR are really something! The rest of the ride is a blast! Very smooth and entertaining. You should try it!

John! DEAL!!! LOL!!! :)

DIane - that's how we've approached the parks too. That midday rest really helps!

Lars, RnR is scarier to watch than to ride. The worst part is the "take off" and then it is down hill from there!:p Because it is in the dark and there are road signs along the way, you have no real sensation of when you are upside down and right side up. I did get a little dizzy the first time, but not on subsequent trips.

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain....

LOL, OK!!!

Are you mooning the man in the moon this morning???:p

Lars, RnR is easy. Goes so quickly that you don't have time to realize all the loops and turns you are doing. It was the very first coaster I ever did and is still my favorite. I have this thing about doing rides in the dark....what you can't see can't hurt you!

Now that my laundry woes are taken care of......anyone want to go shopping???? :teeth:

LOL, Gina! I suspect Yepod and OK are not nearly as interested in your shopping!

Now you're taking about my area of expertise Gina! I'll be glad to do the shopping!:D
Maybe I'll just get in the RnR line with them and not say a word befre we get there. That would SHOCK them all.

Hey, I just realized that I can make our next ressie at WDW tomorrow! DS and his SO are going with us in October, so tomorrow is the 11 month ressie day!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Good Morning Riddlers! Bad storms blew threw here last night with a tornado watch, but the tornadoes touched down about an hour north of us.

Welcome Back Gina!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
The Hulk was also my first ride at IOA. Loved it!

Good morning all! Pm sent and answered already!

Welcome back Gina! Things were too quiet without you last week! Glad to hear that you had a great trip. How was Discoivery Cove? I'd like to do that some day, but I've never heard anyone say what it's like.

Lars, I hope your elbow gets better soon! That must be terribly painful! I think that if you can do BTMRR you can do RnR. I'm not a big coaster fan, but I do enjoy those 2 as well as Space Mountain. I like the ones in the dark, because I also don't like to be able to see what's coming. Rnr is very smooth and fast. It really is over before you know what happened!;)

Sandi, I'm glad to hear that you made it through safely last night. When the warning came on during B&TB last night, I said a quick prayer for all of the DISers in that area.

Diane, my DS would love to go with you to ride coasters. He's NEVER met a ride of any make model or variety that he wouldn't ride. He certainly doesn't take after either of his parents! Maybe you could convince Barry Hom to meet you for a day of coaster riding, and you could let your DH do something he likes. Does he golf?

Cool have pants to wear to the grocery today

Welcome home Gina

Lars healing pixie dust on the way

Congrats to the boys Bernie

On RnR - try to sit closer to the front - the farther back you are the ride gets more jerky and remember to keep your head back - last trip I rode RnR as my first ride after DATW the night before

Storms rolled through here - no damage here but up north it is bad

Have a good day everyone

Gina - after spending the weekend getting caught up on laundry here - found several piles Kara didn't "turn in" - grrrrrrrrr

Good Morning All! I think I know this one today, OK. PM sent!

Have a great day, everyone! :sunny:

Marla, you gave me a good chuckle with the "does he golf" question! I LOVE to golf, but quit golfing years ago because DH HATES it! He is a perfectionist, and golf is VERY frustrating for him! No, I am afraid he is relegated to sitting on the street waiting!:p

LOL! Diane that was me that asked about golf! Oh well! How about you hand him the camera and tell him to wander around and take pics of anything that catches his eye. Remind him to look up and down as Dan says.;) You might be surprised at what he sees while you're riding.

Just finished reading all the thread. Oooo, that does sound painful Lars, hope the anti-biotics work quickly!

Congrats to your kids teams, Bernie and good luck on the next games!

Welcome home Gina! RnR and Hulk are my favourites, too. I like to sit at the front of RnR but haven't got up the nerve for the front of Hulk yet.

I'm glad to hear that you escaped any tornadoes last night, Ranatra. We had a lot of lightening and a power fluctuation.

Diane, my dh is a "thrillseeker" so doesn't mind going to IOA because of the big coasters but will go golfing rather than Disney because there aren't enough "thrill" rides for him. I think that's why he is addicted to golf because he IS a perfectionist and is "thrilled" when he has a good game! (which is seldom ;))

Catching up!
