Good Morning Everyone!!
Welcome home Gina-it sounds like you styed very busy on your vacation Now you'll need to rest up..DH says we run so much sometimes on an Orlando trip that we need a vacation from the vacation
OK-CONGRATS to te boys on your soccer team!! That 's quite an accomplishment!!
This weekend was looong...I ended up having to leave the 13 y/o girls sleepover party to go to Urgent Care at about 10:30 Fiday night. My elbow had been very sore for a few days & I was on an antibiotic but apparantly it didn't do the trick becuse by Fri. night I was swollen and infected from my wrist to almost my shoulder. They had to puncture my elbow & drain it (OUCH!) Apparantly I have an infection in the lubricating gland between the bone & the skin. YUCK! I am on a really strong antibiotic now that makes me sleepy and I have to soak it in Epsom salts 4 times a day and keep it bandaged. I am making a return dr. visit today because they need to check it every 2 or 3 days now until it's gone.
Gross huh?!

Diane....if I could, I would. I'm a recent coaster convertee and although the first time on I'm usually gasping for breath, by the second or third time I'm up to snuff.

I missed all you guys lots and lots. Funny, I took alot of you with me on the rides and in the parks.......


DH says next time we need to plan a bit more carefully. We didn't see or do enough!

(gonna kill that man someday......lol lol lol)

Lars, that sounds AWFUL! Hope you are feeling better soon.

I usually take along guest who I know like to ride, OK. As you know, that wasn't possible this trip. My recently widowed friend is going to be there with her young adult kids, but they are not riders either. It was her DH who would do all the riding!

I guess I need clues this morning! I feel like this should be an easy one, but I just am not seeing the light AT ALL!!!

Gina, you need me to be your planner! I am really good at getting folks to the most attractions in the least amount of time! It all started about 7 years ago when I took the "Unofficial Guide" to heart and memorized it! Now we have enough experience ('cuz of all the DVC trips), that I don't need a guide to tell me how to beat the system. I have my own ways!!

today I have an extra kid or two.....no school in Maine.....then I get to try and finish the baby blanket for our new grandchild that is due in May ......just maybe I can finish it before he/she starts college......Now I can not even tell you why I liked RnR coaster.....it was just the most awesome ride around......I got a little spazzy when the cm asked me if I liked my glasses......cause if I did.....I would take them off.....I think he believed they were sun glasses....but it was totally awesome.......Now Splash MT I do not like.......no way no how.....did it like four years in a row......and then told DH I do not like it and I am not going to do it.....so I do BTMRR and he does splash......

Pumba, don't tell my DH you don't like Splash Mountain! I almost had him talked into it last trip! I am quite sure he would like it because the story is so cute, but he thinks that plunge is more than he can take. I keep telling him it is not nearly as bad as it looks from the street! I kind of feel that way about ToT! I really like the effects etc, but the drops are a few too many any more. I find the older I get, the less I tolerate the extremes. I think it has something to do with the inner ear.

Pumba - LOL! Get cracking on the blanket! No Splash??? That is my favorite attraction in the parks! There's only that one scary part and the rest of it is so wonderfully done!

I have to say.....I love Splash. Also RnR. I can never decide which one I like better.

I have always looked at RnR from afar with my youngest DS who has so far been too small to ride. This Feb. he should be tall enough to go with the rest of the family. What am I gonna do then? Do I tell them all I'm a big chicken?
Last year I finally rode BTMRR and Splash Mountain with them after many years of fear & I loved them both but I'm not sure I'm quite ready for RnR.
How scary is RnR? My DH keeps telling me I'll like it and won't be too afraid but frankly...he'd lie to get me on it.
Anyone here wanna tell me the truth?

Gina, I am not sure we will do much "commandoing" this trip. We will be there for 10 days with just the 2 of us. I suspect we will spend quite a bit of time the first 4 days with my friend and her kids, but after that, we will be on our own. We are early risers, so like to get to the parks before they open. We usually go back to the villa for a rest midday and hit Epcot at night.
