Riddle me this!

My 14YO DD is sick today too. No school for her....

It feels like I have a swarm of bumblebees wrapped in cotton balls flying around in my head....blech....

Lars - it lasts that long?!!! Double Blech.....:(

What are your kids dressing up as this halloween?

My 14 YO is on the fence about going out. She may stay home and dole out candy this year. She did help her little sister put together her outfit. She's going as a geisha. My brother got all the girls kimonos when we had our family reunion at WDW in 2000. The girls have worked out the hairstyle and makeup - she looks quite lovely. :)

Matt's going as Yu-Gi-Oh.

You ask, what is Yu-Gi-Oh?

It's Pokemon with a new name.

Or as my DH puts it.......

It's Japan's revenge on us after WWII...... ;) ;)

My DD13 and 2 of her friends are going out as Charlie's Angels.
My D13 is undecided. He's waiting to spring a costume idea on me on Thursday morning:rolleyes:
My youngest DS6 is the cutest little Toy Story Alien you'll ever see:D
OK, it's a good thing I can type today because I lost my voice on Saturday....I'm on the upswing now but still not 100%.

I sure do hope you're feeling better soon, Lars.....

It sounds like you're going to have a busy Thursday! LOL!!! :)

Funny thing, Gina - my kids never got into Pokemon! I guess we just missed it! :)

Morning, OK and buds. Even with the time change, I am late today. Hope your head feels better soon, Bernie! I had that last week with a sinus headache, but things seem to be getting back to normal in there now. We had a very exhausting weekend with the funeral etc.

Diane!

Did your DS like PONGS, Bernie? I think that was the big thing before Pokemon around here. My DS was too young to know about it....thank goodness.

CONGRATULATIONS, CALIFORNIA ANGELS!!!

Not sure, but I think the TWINS will get more funds too with the Angels winning the series! Sad to see baseball over for another season though. I had wanted to go to spring training next year, but the house will prevent that. I guess I will have to wait for 2004 spring training!

Thanks for the quartet of pants, OK! They will make beautiful music together!

Hope everyone feels better that is feeling under the weather.

DD7 is going to be Cinderella. I have been making costumes for 17 years and this is the first store bought costume ever...and it's killing me.
DS11 will come up with something...I bought him a few of those rubber masks...he opted not to go out last year but wants to this year.
DD17 will hopefully help dole out the candy.

PONGS? Never heard of them!

They are in to Spongebob, CatDog and stuff like that. A little bit of Powder Puff Girls, but not much.

Oh - and 'n Sync, O Town and Aaron Carter....

I've got a Spiderman and a Bob the Builder, although I got told by my lovely MIL that I really should be making their costumes rather than buying them. Never mind I can't thread a needle nor can she.

We are very familiar with Yu-Gi-Oh around here, Gina, wonder how much it (he? she?) will set me back this Christmas. Luke told me the other day he would be happy with 3 packages of Yu-Gi-Oh cards for Christmas, I'm tempted to take him up on his offer.

PM on its way, OK.

Good Morning Riddlers! Not moving too quick this Monday morning:D
Hope you're feeling better soon OK, my household so far has been fine with no germs *knock on wood*. Making a mental note to go get my flu shot pronto!

Nice clue, Diane...:)

Amid - many years ago Sharon and I made the cutest little dinosaur outfit. Spikes down the back, leading to a spikey tail. We made the head out of an old baseball cap. Eyes on top and teeth around the brim of the hat. I'll be wearing the hat this year. We worked on that thing for weeks! Each of our kids got to wear it once for Halloween though! Last year I wore a Minnie hat. My daughter thought that was so silly....:)

Good luck getting Cinderalla ready! :)

We were supposed to go to a costume party for dogs and people Saturday night, but we didn't get home from the funeral until 5, and it just seemed like to much work to go to a party after all that! We have "airedale" costumes. DH is "D'Aire John" and I am "D'Aire Abby" (our kennel name is D'Aire). At least that is what our dog tags say! I was going to have Duffy dressed up in a Doug Mientkiewicz jersey with a gold glove hanging from his collar. We were sorry to miss the party, but just didn't feel like going under the circumstances.

Sounds like there is going to be some awesomely costumed kids out there!! :)

DH used to dress up to give out the candy. One year he was a mummy, fabulous costume! We soaked a sheet in tea, tore it in little strips, and had little rubber snakes woven through it. He really looked scary, and everthing was going great, until.............he had to go to the washroom!!!!  :p :)

Pongs?...anything like a bong? Oh never mind.

We used to have pogs, but not pongs.
