Good morning all! pm sent for the riddle.
Glad that the meet the teacher night went well Mickey.
Nice to see you today Kitty. You have my sympathy with computer problems. I'm really hoping that the fact that mine is working for the third day in a row means that it's finally okay.
I have to go and decorate a couple of birthday cakes for one of the seniors' homes here this morning. The cake decorating club I belong to does this for them every month and I usually do September and January. It used to be a lot easier before I started working. Just one more thing that working cuts into.

Baboo beat me to it today. I think the Jeopardy answer is "What is a nose?" also.

I think I have the riddle. PM sent. I am glad that we still get the daily riddle in addition to Jeopardy.

DS is playing JV soccer. They started practices August 15. Today, Finally, he plays his first game. There have been 2 tournaments that only varsity attended, and 1 game against a school that didn't have a JV team. The team always dresses up on game day. He looked so handsome going to school in a shirt and tie.

Carol, our DS is playing JV football, and they also dress up on varsity game days. Their new coach found ties in the school colors, and they all looked wonderful!

it looks like a few of us have to reprioritize some things and put work in its place. Me included!!!

Sis - I really like the tradition of dressing up. My kids have done it as well. It makes the day all that much more special.

Speaking of brigades..... I could use some help for a "rock brigade" out at the new place! They are digging the basement this week and the place is full of rocks! We have decided to gather enough of them to build the fireplace from our own local rocks! The builder is pushing the huge ones aside for us, but we are hand gathering the ones for the fireplace. I feel like I have been putting the shot this morning! I never was much for shot put, but I should be bulging with muscles after this!

Not far! I was throwing about 8-10 lb rocks like a shot put last night! I am really feeling it today too! My 6'5" 375 # DS comes over today for a haircut and help with his financial aid package. I plan to put him to work out there too!
