Riddle Me This...TIARTA...Wednesday

Yes, Twins clinched the title last night, and it was the first time the did so at home for a division or league title. The only other championship wins on home turf for the Twins have been the two world series wins.

We were at the game, but had to leave, when I got too weak. I really wanted to stay, but they took me out in a wheel chair.

Around here, we only call them the "Twinkies" when they are playing poorly, but this year they have the best record in all of major league baseball after the all star break! Yankees beware!!!

Good Morning Everyone, especially YTI!

Have you ever done a side job or hobby that isn't in your usual line of work and discovered that it is what you were meant for?

For instance, last night I finished painting the interior of my vacant home that we hope to rent. I have spent more time than I have on previous painting jobs, and this time it is more important.

As I stood back and displayed the finished product and thought about how I was getting to work alone, at my own pace I realized...

that I should NEVER be allowed to hold a paint brush. Oh my gosh it looks bad.

Maybe I should have chosen something better than the $5 a gallon Wal-Mart off-white.

Alan - i made that mistake before w/ buying cheap paint. i usually go to Home Depot and get the Glidden paint.

Quick pop in - no clue on this for me, maybe ater, gotta eat, fix my face and hair (yes Alan, they are both broken) and off to get gas and the interview. And it's RAINING here! Hurricane in the pacific is bring us this lousy weather. BTW raining here means sprinkling to the rest of you!
