Bernie, enjoy the week without the girls. At our house we find it strange when there are just the 4 of us~ but in a nice sort of way.

That same yellow orb is in our sky today! It's a bit windy, but certainly nicer than they had predicted. The 18yo had gone camping on Saturday, but came home in the middle of the night- too COLD!

Good Morning all! Finally, some sun for our long weekend! Saturday was cold and windy but yesterday it warmed up by the afternoon. Plan to get some flowers planted today!

Late yesterday afternoon I saw the dove fly off and I thought it had abandoned it's nest. I got a ladder up on our deck and tried to see inside the nest (it's in the neighbour's evestrough) but couldn't get high enough to look right down into it. About 10 minutes later the dove flew back and suddenly a little baby dove reached up into the adult dove's mouth!! It looked only a couple of days old, I couldn't believe it!!! The baby ducked down and I couldn't tell if it was the same one or a sibbling that I next saw. We didn't get the camera out fast enough to take a picture and I'm not sure if we can even get a good shot because zooming in too much makes the picture quite grainy.

Whoo-hoo! My answer is a classic, even if it WASN'T the right one. LOL!

Loved the photos. Sounds like a fun anniversary! Anything that includes antique shops rates way up there with me.

The sun is shining this morning, but they say we have chances of severe weather this afternoon. We can use the rain, but I'm really tired of the storms.

Finals start tomorrow. I'll be glad this time next week. DS is getting edgy and crabby. He doesn't do well under pressure. DD never gets shook up. Easy-come, easy-go! And she is the one that lets her grades drop to a C in the middle of the semester and brings them back up to a B or low A. Sometimes life isn't fair.

DH goes back to the doctor tomorrow to have them look at his ankle. They are supposed to give him exercises to strengthen it. I guess he still has 5 more weeks in the walking cast. Yikes!

I have tons of things I need to get done. If DH is serious about pulling out carpeting and putting down new floors this summer, I need to clean closets and move mountains in the next few weeks. And he's in a walking cast - I think I see a problem with this. LOL!
