Strange curtain today, Bernie! I can't decide if it is an underwater theme or outer space! I think I had better go down to the end of the driveway to see which part of the road is ACTUALLY closed this morning! Trees are all leafed out now, so I can't see it from the house.

Good Morning Everyone!

Finally we have some sun out today! At least I'm off work and can enjoy it. Planning on taking DS and DD to the park today to go feed the ducks. Heck w/ the housework!

Sent Bernie a PM and now I see he is behind the curtain. How rude! At least I'll give him a laugh when he gets back after he sees my guesses!

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. We had a little fun this weekend. There were some slightly hail damaged cars for sale this weekend (about $5-7K off) so Luis and I went to look at them. I have a fairly low car payment but Luis' is a bit high so we went and looked and both of us were able to knock off some money. Depending on how much I owe on my car (I finally decided to look at one for myself yesterday and the bank was closed) we will be saving about $110-150 a month I think on the payments combined. Luis brought home a '03 Accord Coupe and I have an '03 Civic Si coming to me tomorrow. We are both pretty happy and I must admit a few little dimples are easier for me to look at than a dent in the back (which I had). So that was our fun this weekend.

Bernie, enjoy your time without the girls. I am sure it was rough to say goodbye but on the other hand, it might be nice to have time to yourselves

Diane, congratulations to Duffy!!

Gail, I am slow moving to today... I really would rather be at home!

Don't worry Gaspode, I believe you that you are working... that is if you believe I do (which I do... I swear!!!)

Sandi, how nice to hear that your DD is home with you. I miss my family if I am too far away for too long myself.

DH is taking today off to get some things done around the house. That is not good for me - now I have to look like I do things around here during the day besides DIS.

Good morning everyone! Coffee is brewing, and the PM has been sent. The beginning of a crazy week has started.

DH and I celebrated our 18th anniversary yesterday. We spent the day doing the Sunday drive thing (took the long and scenic route) up to Leavenworth. It was MaiFest there so they had polka dancers in those cute little german outfits dancing and doing the May Pole event. Had a great lunch and shopped for a while.. then went to the huge antique mall in Monitor on the way back home. Managed to buy just an odd item or two... not a lot ... but we all had a nice day together.

I am scared!! There is a bright, yellow orb in the blue sky. I am not sure what it is. It creates warmth on your skin. What is it??

I have another busy week in front of me and am trying to figure out how to clear Thursday so I can take a class. That is a riddle in itself.
