I'm here-but ready to go again! I turned on the riddle ½ hour ago, and left it there for inspiration while doing the 2 mile WATP tape. Nope, I didn't get the answer, but I did the walk.

Val, continued prayers for your mom's speedy recovery. And for your dad, who I hope is holding up well. Good luck on the EQAO. My DD starts this Wednesday.

Bernie, I'm so proud of your DD for making the grown-up choice that she did. You SHOULD be proud and BRAG!

Diane, I can tell that we're in for that rain over the next few days. My DD had to put their (anticipated) shorts away!

Well for me - I use the Dis to escape my RL which isn't much fun any more - I hate to see all of this fighting and bickering

MY MOTHER'S birthday is THURSDAY......not catching a break this year!!! LOL.....but that's okay, at least I still have my mom around....I went with her yesterday to visit the cememtary where my Nana is buried.....14 years ago, and it's still difficult!

On a much lighter note, the workers start on the driveway of my mom & dad's new house today (2.2 miles from my house....)
The driveway is a doosie, 1500 feet long.....will take them 5 days to clear..of course in contractor language, that's about a month....

Morning all! I'm on a little later than what I usually am. Still haven't recovered all lost sleep this weekend. My BIL got married on Saturday and the rain somehow stopped for most of the afternoon. My DD got too scared when she saw all the people in the church and had to walk down the aisle with my DSIL instead of the other flower girl. Oh well, at least I don't feel bad since the other flower girl did the same thing.

Valerie- what a great Mother's Day gift for you! So glad to hear about your mom.

Bernie- hopefully I will get the riddle today. Will have to go back and look for the clues again.

I have been MIA from the main community board for some time now. I just can't quite get into the swing of the current posts - and feel like an outsider alot. I feel comfortable here and on the F&G and WISH boards. So that is pretty much where I stay anymore. I truly miss some old friends who no longer post here.

DD has the day off from school (records day or something) - she is going to get to sleep in ... which she says she needs... as she spent ALL day yesterday cleaning her room - as a mother's day gift to me!

Valerie - what wonderful news about your mom! That has made my day!

Bernie, that had to be a tough decision for your DD. That shows a lot of maturity on her part. Brag away!!!

I've been reading some of the threads about people being unhappy here. Let me just say that I am so glad that one day I made the decision to click on the "Riddle Me This" thread. Must have been an easy riddle that day, or I might have run in the other direction! I really enjoy everyone's company here.

BTW - Survivor! I am shocked that Jenna won, and I was surprised at how good Matt looked last night.

Time to check out the riddle again...
