I can't believe they wouldn't find this one a home. He is young, but I think needs to be nuetered yet. Perhaps that is why he was "out and about"! He is going to be large when he is conpletely grown! He was awfully thin now, so he may have been out awhile. He has the structure and voice of a siamese, but the color of an orange and white tabby.

Good Morning Riddlers!
Was up at the crack of dawn making coffee (5:15)
and at 6:00 decided to go back to sleep for a while, so I got another 2 hours since I didn't have to water the garden this morning. We did get some of that rain yesterday.

Got my smarty pants... I believe I am good to go to work now. I will be doing my DD's school clothes shopping next weekend. She is actually very UNINTERESTED in what she wears. I am hoping this phase lasts for her until she is living on her own. At which point she should probably start picking out her own clothes! Don't you think?! LOL!

Good morning everyone!

DD is finally home from her last week of camp. I think I spent half the summer talking her to and from camps. Now she is at SAT prep class. The summer is coming to a close. I am not ready for school to begin. This last week was Drum Major camp and she was very enthusiastic. Said it was "the best thing I have ever done."

Weather here has finally changed. I turned off the AC today to give the electric bill a break.

I have to go out for a bit. In order to get paid in September when I start teaching I have to have a negative TB test..so I am off to get the test....be back in a while. Send you guesses on!

... woke up this morning with someone else in my bed ...

... she was blonde, she was "Trouble", and I was late for work ...

... I tried to remember how I got in this predicament ...

... but the events of the past night were a blur ...

... and as she opened her eyes and said "Daddeeee" my heart just melted...

... and I thought that all must be "right in the world" to have such an adorable little tyke smiling up at me ...

Diane, how's Duffy doing? I hope he's recovered completely.

We'll be off in a little while to find DS's locker and find out if the school has the high school schedules ready yet -- since school starts tomorrow. He's not looking forward to getting up earlier tomorrow. Middle and high schools share the same buses; middle school started last year at 8:50, and high schools start at 7:25.

TxT, that sounds like a wonderful way to start the day!

Carol, Duffy is doing great now that we found out what the problem was. He carries the same bacterium in his gut that people who have duodinal ulcers have. We have him on long term antibiotic and tagamet treatment.
