Think we're finally in for a stretch of beautiful weather - lower temps and much lower humidity ...... kinda makes you wish you

Been busy here - dad finally was released from the hospital late Sunday evening - he is still in pain and looks about as bad as he did when we took him in on Monday

Off soon to do that lets go see what clothes we do or don't like for school - we spent time Sunday looking at the ads with Kara going yuck, oh yuck, no way - nope - geesh - this should be an interesting day

THanks for the pants, Mickey! Now I can take Duffy for a walk in style! It seems like it has been FOREVER since I did a dog walk! It has just been way too hot and humid for that. Today it actually feels brisk! May even be too brisk for those smarty shorts!

I get to dog walk the next few days too. I am house and puppy sitting for some friends....I can't wait..they have an indoor pool! I love it!

Gee, Mickey! How far are you from Minnesota? I will soon be losing my long time dog/house sitter! She has been married for a couple years now, and is planning on a pregnancy VERY soon. She said October will probably be her last time! I tentatively have her scheduled for our January WDW trip, but she wouldn't give me a for sure on that one until October. I hate waiting so long to schedule a dog sitter. It always makes me nervous that I wont find one! Our kennel is VERY easy to take care of. It is really set up for easy maintainance.

Go to a mall, hand her a cell phone and tell her to call you when she finds something.

Then again, what SHE thinks is appropriate and what YOU think is appropriate.....hehehehehehe.....

On second thought.....offer her the ugliest duds imaginable. Maybe everything else will look great by comparison.

Oh Diane, I wished I live closer! If you were in the state of NY....

BTW, I finally got the animal control guy to pick up the kitty from my front porch. He was a beautiful young cat and very friendly. I assumed he was dropped off by someone, because he didn't have a collar, but he might have been a house cat who escaped. At any rate, he was very hungary and ate every morsel of dog food I gave him. When the animal control guy arrived, I had kitty in the grooming room. We opened the door and he escaped into the garage, but came to me right away, and I just picked him up and put him in the cage. I hope they find a good home for him. I will call in a few days to check. If they can't find a home for him, my vet will take him. She usually takes strays and makes clinic cats out of them until she finds a home for them.
