It is colder and yuckier today...I heard last night we will have a lousey weekend. What is up with that? Yesterday was hot and gorgeous....today YUCK!!!!

Looked at the riddle and it hit me like a ton of bricks ok maybe just 4 of them

We have had a drought here..actually a major wild fire at one of the state parks yesterday. We do need the rain pretty badly...and of course a little lighting always greens up those lawns

My front yard has been under a bit of stress for the past year. Heavy machinery running over it and it became the play area while the pool was being built too. I'm bound and determined to get it back into shape this spring!

I've posted over on the F&G about planting sod in my back yard. If anyone has any suggestions about that, I'd appreciate the info on that thread there! THANKS!

Ugh! Grass?!....bad word around here right now. We had grubs eat our entire front lawn and patches of the back and side too. We've got about 1/2 acre lot & the whole front is history! DH has started working on the de-grubbing process but it is tedious! Someone told me the other day that it'll be a few years before they're all gone and it's back to normal. Man, I didn't have the heart to share that bit of info with DH

I suppose I will just have to wear my smarty pants from yesterday - because I have no clue what this one means!

Laura, our lawn is toast from last year, too. I need to find out if there are grubs (I hadn't seen any. I just assumed it was the drought) and then get on repairing it.

We're in for a rain day here today, too. Oh goody. . .indoor recess!

Better get the teens off before the miss the bus!

yup...and we're three days behind Diane...so I guess my REAL burning question for her today is WEATHER the roofers show up....of course I might not really want to know.

LOL! I have my fingers crossed that they show up today! We had showers last night, but the weather seems not so bad this morning, and they are SUPPOSED to come today!
I see my pants beat me here. It took me awhile to read the first few pages. The riddles have been easy this week, OK!

Lawns! I think it will be a LONG time before we have any landscaping at the new place! It is either packed clay ruts or mud out there now!

Hi everyone! Our yard is really torn up now due to the addition. They are coming today to dig two big pits for the drains from the gutters. Hopefully they'll get it dug today, get it inspected tomorrow, and then get it all filled up so we can start planting some grass.

I can't believe I've gotten all of the riddles this week without any help. That can only mean one thing - a math riddle is on the way soon.

Well - tell ya' what - here's a real toughie - not math, but one I've been saving for a special day.

So here's a SECOND RIDDLE for the day!

What is the only English word, with two synonyms that are antonyms of each other?
