As I was driving into work today, I noticed the car in front of me had the back windshield entirely blown out. I thought that it was really odd that they wouldn't at least put plastic over the hole. Anyway, it looked to me like the woman driving had a dog in the front seat with her, because I could see something moving around. It turns out it was a very young child, maybe around 2 years old, in the front seat, with NO car seat and without even using a seat belt! I was so upset I wanted to scream out my window at her. I kept looking for a police car, but of course you can never find them when you need them. I debated about calling 911 on my cell phone, but I wasn't sure what to do since it wasn't an immediate emergency. I was so stunned at her carelessness. She ended up turning onto another street, but later on I saw her driving along on the major freeway into Pittsburgh. What an idiot... Why are some people so stupid? I feel bad now that I didn't call 911.
