It is 65º here and looks like it might rain at any second.

Now you can all feel safer with me around. I am CPR certified for 2 more years. We even learned how to use that automated defibrillator machine. And I know how to take care of choking too. Could come in handy at RiddleCon.

It's been snowing since morning but not sticking....yet! It's supposed to get colder and then we could get ice.

Carol - your certification may come in handy if people do wear their thongs at RiddleCon!!!

I have a band boosters meeting at 7 tonight. Doubt I'll be home by 8 for Survivor. VCR is set. I guess I won't be able to come here until I watch the tape.

no rain OR snow here.....YET!!! but LOTS and LOTS of hail coming down!!!! Oh what fun!!!

I'm still at work, but had a minute between interviews to "sneak" in! My VCR is set for Survivor....hopefully it won't be interrupted by NEWS this week! TOTALLY messed up my taping!! The good news is I can always get a Survivor update right here!!!

Evening all! Busy day for me Had to help find a new officiant for my sister's wedding (they backed out 2 months prior w/o a back up for us )

I guess I am just drained right now. No snow here though! Only rain thank goodness!

DD just got home from doing some errands. She scraped up the side of my car pretty bad. Was in a parking lot and got too close to the fence when she was backing up and didn't know how to get out of the situation. I don't mind the scrape too much but DH is not going to be happy. I already dented the bumper by running into a snow bank last month. My car is looking pretty bad and I don't want to pay for the repairs. I am not sure what consequences this should have. No person or other property was damaged but....

That is a tough one Carol. I remember scraping my mom's car like that....the morning I was taking my SAT's. The car was older and it would stall so you'd have to gun it at first. It was a pretty tight fit in the garage and I was trying to back it out, while gunning it, and got too close to the side of the garage.

Nothing big planned for the weekend. Sunday will be busy but tonight and Saturday are quiet.

I'll try to do my part at reaching 150 this weekend. I have a really BUSY weekend ahead of me though!!! After school today my OM team has their final preparation meeting unitl about 5 then we're getting pizza & heading over to preform at Family Night. Tomorrow morning we get up early & have to be on the road by 8:30am to head an hour north to the Regional OM Competition. We'll be there until about 6 or 7 in the evening, stop for dinner & not get home til pretty late. Side note for John-If they place in the top 2 at Regionals we'll be coming to Grand Rapids for States in April! I may need advice on good hotels.
Then on Sunday my DD wants to go to the mall. By Monday I'll need a vacation BADLY!!! Only 3 more weeks til WDW!!!!
Did you guys see the thread about April in WDW.....I just might get to meet Dan Murphy. How cool is that?!?!

150 pages is going to take a lot of posting! I'll try to do what I can.

Laura - is the OM sponsored by the school? It sounds really interesting. I'm not sure if our school district participates or not. What grade levels usually participate?

I am jealous of your upcoming vacation - just 3 more weeks to go! It would be great to meet Dan also. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at RiddleCon, and maybe sneaking in a mini-meet or two before then.

Carol, I feel bad for your DD. A few weeks after I got my first car, I was turning a corner in a neighborhood with very narrow streets, and my car scraped up against an old truck. I didn't know how to move my car either, so it ended up a lot worse than it should have.

DH was not too upset about the car. He thinks that at this rate it should be about ready for the demolision derby at the County Fair in July.

No big plans this weekend, as it seems DH will be working most of it, and then the boys will be ice fishing Sunday.
Maybe I'll get the dining room painted after all this weekend....shhhh....dont' tell DH...he liked the kitchen, but used it as an excuse to complain that I didn't get something else done on Wednesday.....
