Morning all! I've been a tad busy doing things around the house but I had to stop in!

Gail, glad that your meeting with the friend went well! Sounds like a great day!!!

I really wish I could have gone to that meet yesterday but there was just too much snow around my house to venture out.

Carol, we are expected to get about that much snow between now and tomorrow as well. Not like the 8 or so inches yesterday weren't enough! It is really pretty though... huge flakes are coming down adn the plows are going around nice and busy today too. I will say I cannot wait for winter to be over with!!!

Oh please send that our way too! We've already shoveled the driveway twice today and the snow is still coming down. I can't take this. They warn that for some of us, we might have 20 inches total this weekend. We had about 8 yesterday and fortunately it was sunny for a while and a little of that melted (made the roads nice). Now we might get 12 more inches over the next day. I am tired of this white stuff. It is very pretty but getting old quick!

DH keeps going out and shoveling the back steps and a path out on the grass so the dogs can go out. They are Shelties and the snow is up past their bellies.

I really feel for all of you dealing with the snow. As a life time Michigander I'm used to big snowstorms & I know what it's like digging out & trying to getaround. Luckily we seem to be in the clear from this one.

I definitely know it is bad here. They just had a listing for all the closings in my county and when my public library closes, that's when you know things aren't good here. I haven't seen a plow in a while because I bet they are so busy and with the holiday tomorrow I am sure they just are under staffed. I wonder if I will make it to work tomorrow now

Hi gang! I've been busy painting all day yesterday and today. We got a lot done, and now my back is killing me!

The MI meet looked like a good time! So nice to see the faces that go with the names.

CCD was cancelled this morning, and my sister cancelled a bowling party for my nephew, all due to the upcoming snow. The heavy snow didn't start until late afternoon. DH is supposed to have a leader's meeting tonight for Cub Scouts, but he just came back inside and said he would never make it up our hill. I can't believe the Cubmaster didn't call to cancel the meeting. DH called his house and his wife said her husband just left for the meeting.

If it snows hard enough, maybe DH won't have to go to work tomorrow and we can get all of the painting done!

Gail - I'm glad you had a great time with your friend. That's nice that your DD's could play together also.

We just heard that it's sleeting in DC......maybe we won't get as bad a storm tomorrow after all. We did get some pictures from friends in MD and their cars were literally covered!

Hope you're not too sore LK.....can't wait to see pictures of the addition. Did your DH make it home safely??

Morning! I'm terrible with estimating snow amounts, but it looks like at least a foot of now outside. We can't tell where the driveway is - it looks like we have one continuous front yard. DH didn't attempt going to the meeting last night. He is staying home today. It is almost 8 and I am ready to paint. Why is he still sleeping?

Stephanie, I am never going to compete against you for last pants or first pants. You are awake 24 hours a day it seems! Hope DD got over her nightmare. By the way, I love your user name. When Monster's Inc. first came out, we thought that Boo sounded just like our niece! I love that movie.
