well, looks like you little dwarves were busy....there wasn't any jello wrestling was there??? Had to ask, you never know....

For the record......"Lime Green" has been asked to be renamed to "Royal Blue".....and he REALLY REALLY doesn't want me to use my editing skills to show you guys why.....LOL.....

I didn't end up making dessert...the kids came home with so much candy....they had that.....

Hopefully, we're out of the snow-belt this weekend.....lottsa races to watch....can't wait for the LARS-con pictures....hope the snow doesn't hamper your plans.

Well we got snow here and enough snow to make me stay put I probably should get off the DIS and stop being so upset about not making it up to Michigan today though... I hope someone there takes TONS of pictures and heck, I have cell phones, I may call in to someone to say hi!!!

I was so looking forward to this and NOT this snow!!!!

I completely understand Elaine!!! This winter has been a real winter here too and it's messed up lots of plans for us.

Carol - Is it still snowing? It still appears we'll miss both storms this weekend.

It has tapered off to flurries now. DH was supposed to have a breakfast meeting with a legislator, but they cancelled because of the weather and now it doesn't look too bad.

This is the first storm. They are predicting a much bigger storm for Sunday into Monday.

Morning everyone! We were supposed to get a few inches today, but nothing so far. Maybe the snow they are calling for on Sunday and Monday won't happen either. Elaine, so sorry you had to miss the meet.

I am going to a baby shower today for my roommate from college. She is expecting twins! I am so happy for her and her DH because they have waited a long time for this.

We are starting to paint today in our addition. I got up early today and wiped down all of the walls to get rid of as much drywall dust as possible. DH is starting to prime now. I think we should be ready to "live" in it within 4 weeks or so.

The snow here picked back up again. We are supposed to get this wave of snow today and tomorrow. By Sunday night it is supposed to be done. I think this next storm is supposed to only give us a few inches but supposed to be windy.

Carol, I do agree!!! I've had enough!!! I think we all need to get on a plane and get ourselves down to WDW

They were expecting some snow here this morning that never came ..... now they're threatening for Monday - but it is cold out there !!!

No major plans for me this weekend ... I'm on call for work so that limits where I'm able to go a bit but staying home in temps like this doesn't seem like such a bad idea !

I'll try and stop in later on for one of those delicious looking cyber-drinks everyone was having last night ...

Hi all! I slept in this morning and then had to go out and do some shopping. It's been sunny here for the past few days, but VERY cold!!! Today's high was supposed to be about -17ºC.

DH is going to the video store.

Do I need anything else before the white death hits??

Hopefully we will get to church tomorrow because DD is the crucifer and her choir sings. Both kids were supposed to be at church from 3 until 11PM for Youth Sunday rehearsal and then MYF. I tend to think they will be postponed.

I plan to do a LOT of DISsing.

It was only about a 15 to 20 minute drive for me

I probably won't get my few pictures posted til tomorrow but John & Juli assured me that they'd get theirs up tonight. I stillhave to go to DS's hockey game in abut 10 minutes...unless I can talk DH into going with out me.

I'm glad mine aren't into hockey too! Spending long hours in a cold rink has never been my idea of fun, but to each their own!!!

Grumpy here......but not grumpy today. Just got back from spending the day with my childhood friend and her daughter. We hadn't seen each other in 34 years!!!

They live in Miami so we decided to let them enjoy New England to the fullest and went sledding.....it was maybe 10 degrees but fortunately the sun was out and there was little wind. Kids and adults had a great time! She had a digital camera so hopefully I'll be able to share some pictures.

We visited my mom.....who lives in the same house as when I was growing up so it was great for Shazy to see. It was also lots of fun to see our 2 DD's playing together just like we did. We had dinner at Dave & Busters and the kids played games and we just dropped them off for the night.

I'm pooped but happy.
