Just got home.....long day.......and had to help DD put together 100 items to take to school tomorrow to celebrate the 100th day.

We're hoping to pack tonight for our adventure......we have Family Math Night until 8:00 at school tomorrow evening.....and we're leaving **very** early Friday morning.

DH & I going to New York City....I qualified for my unit's annual recognition conference at work. This is by far the most extensive one they've held.....in the past it's been a weekend night and held fairly closeby.....Boston, Cape Cod, Newport.

We leave early Friday.....do stuff in the city during the day.....a banquet at night....more free time on Saturday.....and a performance of Phantom of the Opera before we head home on Saturday night.

We're starting to get excited.....will be moreso after we get through tomorrow's school activities.

My Meg's middle name is Ruth...it's after DH's grandmother who died when he was a little boy.

Meghan Laura...for my grandmother who died very young, but still made an incredible impression on who I wanted to be in life.

DD is Elizabeth (my middle name & my grandmothers first name) Lynn (variation of Linda) her godmother and my friend since 9th grade
