I have found myself to fit many of those definitions of DH in many years....

We make an occasional trip to the Bronx to watch the Yankees - but these days we spend more time at our Triple-A ballclub. We have a lovely new stadium here in town and it's a nice, affordable night out.

Hey Bernie, what is you AAA club, and is it a Yankees afiliate? Our Twinsfest was this weekend too, and it was PACKED!! Hoping for a GREAT year from the TWINS!!

It's amazing how expensive Fenway Park is. One reason is it's so small they just can get the revenue that the larger venues get. I love the history it has but the team truly needs a new home. We've been to SkyDome in Toronto and that's beautiful and we can't wait to see Camden Yards.

We also have a AAA affiliate team, the Pawtucket Red Sox. They renovated their stadium a few years back and it's a great place to take the family. Our kids belong to their Kids Club and they get free admission to about 3 games a season. Ticket prices are very reasonable and many times we can see some Boston players as they're recovering from an injury.

I think the TWINS have some of the cheapest ticket prices in MLB. The outfield seats are $6 and our VIP season ticket seats are only $25 a game.

I've only been to one major league game in my life. We went to one at Sky Dome a few years ago and had a great time, but it's too expensive for us!

Hello Baboo! I am here, but I don't know for how long. Lots of homework to catch up on tonight.

I like major league baseball, but minor league games are really tons of fun. I have seen minor league games in Toledo, OH and Washington, PA and some spring training games in Bradenton, FL.

The bet was that the person who got the most pants this month buys the first round of drinks at Riddlecon. It was between Kitty and Glo.

I got kicked off the computer last night so that my Ds could chat with his girlfriend.

okay.....where is Willy......I need a drink....make it a strong one....

ready for this guys.....I have quite a story to tell you...first let me preface this conversation with...what I did was incredibly stupid....and hindsight tells me i should have NEVER EVER EVER done what I did...particulary with my beautiful daughter in the car...but here goes......


I was coming out of the grocery store this afternoon...I put Meg in the car and was putting my shopping cart away...and I notice this guy walk by me....I noticed him because it was POURING out and he was drenched....so I put the cart back, and get in my car....now I notice the same guy again, and he's walking in the other direction....holding some sort of coffee can (think collection jar from the local store) and he starts running down the exit road to the store....
What do I do?? Follow him....it just looked odd....so I get in my car and follow him...not bad enough but he figures I'm following him and he cuts through a used car lot and starts heading down another side street....yep..I follow him again....well at this point...I figure I need to go back to the store in case he really did rip someone off.....but I have to drive back by him.....he's now standing in the middle of the road.....so I drive by...fast..and don't look at him....as I drive by, he's pulling something out of his inside jacket pocket....I don't knw what....but of course my mind figures the worst....by the time I get back to the store, and inside, the police are already there...he stole a woman's purse in the store and my timing was just right I guess.....
So I file a report and head home...thinking now this creep knows my car and license plate......I'm now a total basket case.....

And DH is of course not particulary sympathetic...he's in law enforcement and probably understood better than I the danger I could have been in.....course I was looking for compassion..not a lecture......




Well, that's my story..I told you I was stupid...


.somebody else will have to fill up the cooler tonight....I'm going to lay here on the beach in this hammock and try to unwind....

Wow - I'm glad you are okay, but you do sound like you need a deep cleansing breath and a nice strong drink!

I might have followed the man also if it looked suspicious. I think he might have been too nervous or scared about what he just did so he probably didn't think enough to get your license plate #.

Stephanie-Don't be too hard on yourself....we've all done things without thinking them through first. You would NEVER intentionally put yourself & Meg at risk and your DH knows that, he's just worried because he cares about you.
