Anybody else heard of him? He does some really good kids music. The reason I ask is because my daughter is listening to one of his tapes right now, and singing along with him.
I Know he is popular in Maine, and possibly the rest of New England, but I'm not sure if he is well-known nation wide.

He did New Years Eve at LL Beans in Freeport .........I love the Alligator in the Elevator song too....the kids always loved him......

My kids are past the age now but we all loved Rick Charette when they were younger. We saw him perform several times.

I'm from Maine so I've heard of him. Rick Charette and the Bubble Gum Band. :thumbsup2

Rick Charette has been around for a long time. About 20 years ago, give or take a few years, I met him at a teacher's workshop. We had invited him to teach a class to us, (K-3 teachers), and he was wonderful. He spent an entire afternoon with us, talking about how he came up with his music and lyrics, then having us try writing a few songs. It was a lot of fun.

I remember him as a very warm, gracious, down-to-earth guy. We also, as a family, attended many of his concerts here in Maine when our kids were little. We have several albums, (yes, albums, not CDs!), that he happily autographed for the kids.

Our kids loved him and his music! Where Do My Sneakers Go At Night? And of course, Mud, Mud, I Love Mud!
