Richard Petty Driving Experience

Anyone done the Richard Petty Driving Experience? If so, how was it?

DH did it a couple of years ago as a Father's Day present. He loved it. I think he did the rookie experience. It took a half day. He said it was one of his best presents ever.

DH did it and loved it--he wants to do the King experience next which is I think $600.

First it was a class instruction, then he got into the driving suit, and rode around the track 8 times following a pace car. There was about 6 poeple in the group and they compared times at the end.

I gave this To DH a couple of years ago for Christmas, we were going to WDW in the spring of that year and he's not the Disneyholic that I am, I thought this would give him something to look forward to. He said the track @ WDW "is no good" so he did it in Charlotte. He didn't even have all of the gear off afterwards and he was already saying "I've got to do that again!" He loved it!!! The past 2 Christmas' after all the gifts have been opened he says "What, no Richard Petty Driving Exp. gift certificate this year?"

My DH did the 8 lap one back in October - He had a blast. My DD and I surprised him with it for an early Christmas Present and it was definetely worth every penny.
