Mrs F has just booked me the RPD Rookie Experience at WDW Speedway for my 40th Birthday pressie while we are over at Christmas/New Year

I have - it was brilliant and if your into speed/racing/motosport you will love it. In all the experiences at Richard Petty it doesnt feel fast on the straights, but its amazing in the curves!!!

In a recent dis-podcast Will did the Indy experience thats new at the Disney Speedway and he said even though he loves nascar, if he had the option to do one or the other he would pick Indy, but thats not say the Petty experience is bad, he just enjoyed Indy a bit more.

I on the other hand would love either and find it hard to decide

I did it about 3 years ago. DH bought it for me as a gift. There was only 1 other woman in our "class". They advised that we do a ride-along first if we hadn't done one before to get used to the speed. They let us do the ride-along half price. You can get a AAA discount too. I thought it was amazing! One of the most exciting things that I have every done. The staff was great. They really help make you feel comfortable.
