Thursday 11th May:

BIG THUNDERSTORM first thing this morning, so Muggins here had to go over to Sassagoula's to get the drinks!! What a big plus it was to have all those covered walkways - I would have hated to have been in somewhere like Coronado Springs or Caribbean Beach!!

Fuelled for the morning we then drove over to Michael's for Avonia to do some serious damage to my credit card - she did get a lot of nice scrapbooking stuff though (and so did Victoria!).

Once both the "girls" were satisfied it was back into Miss Piggy for the drive back to POFQ and a bite to eat.

This afternoon it was back over to EPCOT. We went to Soarin' first (via Ice Station) to pick up our fastpasses, and then Victoria wanted to finish her masks so I went to the Camera Centre to get our Photopass pictures burned to CD and let the girls do their thing. The CM was expert at putting all the enhancements etc on the photos, so I just stood there saying "Yes, Fine, Yes, Excellent" etc etc. As it was still only Thursday and we still had a day left I asked what happens if we have some more photos taken. She just told me to come back in with my receipt and they would burn another CD at no extra cost.

I then went off to do some videoing of EPCOT (via the ICE Station) whilst Avonia and Victoria were "masking" and "autographing":

They went anti-clockwise, I went clockwise and we met up at Italy. Today was another baking hot day and with the extra humidity it was a definate case of stacking up on the fluids. We then worked our way to Soarin' (via Ice Station to re-hydrate). I must admit, I enjoyed Soarin' a lot more the second time.

Once Soarin' was done we made our way over to Canada to watch the 360 degree film in the glorious air-conditioned theatre before returning to Le Cellier for our evening meal (6.30pm). Again the meal was excellent, again the bill was in excess of $150, again we were really pleased we were on the Disney Dining Plan, and again another inch on the wasteline!!!

In the evening we drove over to the Magic Kingdom to catch SpectroMagic again:

We found a good place to "pitch" ourselves without having to hang about for an hour, and enjoyed the spendour's of the parade. We then strolled around for about half an hour in the now bearable evening heat before catching the tram back to the car-park. Miss Piggy, as reliable as ever, ready to take us back "home" to POFR where we had our now customary evening drinks in the re-fillable mugs.

It was then to bed, to dream of our final day at WDW..........

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for sharing.

We really like Le Cellier ~ It is expensive but well worth it.

Thanks for sharing, Richard, sounds like it was a lovely day. I really want to try Le Cellier, must get round to it sometime.

That must have been the thunder storm that hit just as we were going into the Lion King Show - thankfully we must have missed the worst of it! :thumbsup2

Great report...

Only one day left, :sad1: Amazing how two weeks van suddenly appear so short.

Yes. At the beginning of the holiday you think WAH HEY! Two weeks to do loads of things. Then with a couple of days left you think Two Weeks and I still haven't done loads of things!!! Where does the time go? We had planned to do Boggy Creek amongst other things, but never managed to fit it in.

Its appreciated that you like them. As this was the first time I'd written a trippie it was always a worry in the back of my mind that I may bore everyone to tears.
