Rice milk

Anywhere on property sell rice milk?


I am thinking I am going to have to either rent a car or get groc delivered. My littlest DD1 needs it.

Any cheap options? Like buy a few 1/2 gallons from Hess or bc market place?

Dates 9/20- 9/29 staying at bc in a 1 bd so fridge space not a problem.

Have you checked the DisAbilities Board? They have information on allergies. I haven't seen Rice Milk but that doesn't mean there isn't any or that some can't be brought to your resort.

You could contact special diets and see if it's available.

My DS used to drink rice milk when we made several trips to Disney. I was never able to get it on property - only soy milk. He was not allergic to soy (just dairy) so I would pack a carton in my luggage or have some included with our grocery delivery for the room, but would be able to get him soy at table service dining. (I can't remember if we were able to get soy at counter service...)

We have not attempted to get rice milk there since 2012 though and have since switched to soy anyway so have not asked on our last trip. Good Luck!

Last year, I made several phone calls and found out that all that is available on property is cow's milk and soy milk. So, I had almond milk shipped straight to our resort from Amazon. You might could check with them or Walmart to see if shipping it in is an option. You could do Garden Grocer but unless you ordering a lot, the delivery fee and tip will be high.

It is not true that rice milk is not available at WDW. It is not out where you can get it yourself but you can absolutely get it by asking for it. It is available at all resort CS locations (maybe not CSR but the rest) by asking a chef to get it for you and many TS restaurants also carry it (definitely the ones that make milkshakes but I'm pretty sure many others have it to). They probably also have it at the ice cream parlours in the parks but I haven't checked so I don't know for sure though I know they have it at the Plaza Restaurant so I would imagine that they could get it at the Plaza ice cream parlour. They carry Pacific brand rice milk.

I don't know if you can ask for a whole carton from a chef for purchase at your resort or not. I typically place a grocery order with Garden Grocer so I've never had a need to ask.

same here! I'm actually shocked to read this because we were told only soy would be available to us as an alternative.

I had 3 boxes from Walmart, 2 cases of bottled water and a case of almond milk from Amazon all shipped in with no charge. But certain resorts are conference centers and they will have a charge. We will be at BLT in a couple of weeks and there would be a charge so I am packing the single serve almond milks in our luggage.

I'm not sure if BC is a conference center resort or not.

I think it will run 125-150 and I think if I eat 2-3 meals off site, buy a few cheaper bottles of wine instead of 11$ by the glass, and skip shipping/gard groc shop this may be the best option. After thinking about a possible second trip to store if needed, and packing a whole suitcase with diapers / rice milk wipes this is just going to cost as much and be a whole extra suit case.

Just remember that the suitcase full of diapers, wipes and rice milk is an empty suitcase for the way home and you can put all your souvenirs in there That is how we think of it anyways. I think you can probably get a car pretty inexpensive. Just whether you want to give time to shopping off site. Many people don't mind. For us, I'd rather not. Hopefully bringing the milk with us goes ok. Shipping it in was fabulous if that is an option for you.

That's really strange. One of my kids can't have soy milk and one of them can't have the current brand of soy milk but could have the former one (the current one has gluten in it). We've gotten milkshakes using rice milk as Pop, POR, POFQ, 50s PTC, Sci-Fi and I'm pretty sure at a few other places as well though my mind is blanking at the moment. Some places we've gotten Mickey waffles use rice milk though others use apple juice while others use water but I do know that some use rice milk (I'm blanking on which places do what but I know chefs have told me they've used rice milk). Chefs have made cheese sauces using rice milk as well.

The park CS locations do not have it. It's only the resort CS locations that will carry rice milk. As for TS restaurants, resort restaurants should have it but only some park restaurants do. The non-Disney owned ones I would guess don't but we don't eat at those so I can't say for sure. I know we got rice milk for DD13's cereal at Tusker House a couple years ago but other than that one and the ones that serve milk shakes I can't remember if we've asked at others. Now that both kids are gluten free we can't get cereals and DD13 doesn't just drink milk so we no longer ask for milk other than if they want a milkshake. HBD didn't even have soy milk when we ate there so I know it can definitely vary by location. If they serve cereal though I would think that they likely have rice milk like Tusker House did but obviously that's just a guess. I know I did read a blogger's review of Crystal Palace where she said she got it there.

I pl today and didn't get it, and I have the test milk coming Tom or tue to try and see if she will drink.

Contacting special diets before your trip is the best way. Sometimes they can order in things for you like rice milk to have at your resort.

I know that I was told my niece could have Tofutti ice cream at our resort, just let a chef know that my niece wanted some and they would get it from the back. They of course couldn't figure out how to serve it to her or how we would be charged but we did get some one night.

We'll be there in 2 weeks so I'm gonna see about a rice milk milk shake. My ds won't really want to drink rice milk as his beverage but I know he'd love a milk shake We've gotten Mickey waffles too and I know i said no dairy or soy so maybe those were made with rice milk. I don't remember them clarifying that though. Part of our problem is we need milk in the room for first waking up and bedtime. So we have to take milk but it's nice to know we can find some in the restaurants too. Thanks for sharing!

I had been pricelining cars at 8$ a day, and was offered a full size at 11.. I took it, and now I have to save 170$ in 9 days to make it worth while


3 bottles of wine and a case of beer in fridge.. should save 25$ a bottle and 10-15$ for the beer.. 75 -100$

2 dinner off site instead of a TS at Epcot 100+

savings on milk IDK at least 25$ for delivery.. 25+

4 dollar store noodles instead of 5.95 noodles at the BC.. 15+


I am prolly there already.. and we can drive the the AK, and DTD.
and I am almost at my 20 day count down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't read all responses, so sorry if this is a repeat.

Years ago when DS had multiple food allergies and special food needs, I shipped a box of shelf stable food items ahead to the hotel. I sent it out several days ahead so that I could send it the cheapest method possible. It was still a bit pricey, but better than lugging along an extra suitcase and better than spending my precious vacation time at the grocery store! The rice milk I used to buy was shelf stable, so it was easy to send, along with his rice bread, peanut butter, and such. HTH...................P
