Does anyone have a good rice krispie treat recipe or possibly one from DISNEY WORLD????

My son wants to make them, but I told him to wait and see if I can find a Disney recipe.

Many thanks,
Kim

Just use the recipe on the box and top it with melted chocolate. My husband LOVED the white chocolate covered rice krispy treats they used to sell at WDW, but they stopped making them. I made him the same thing by using the recipe on the Rice Krispy box and melting white chocolate chips and spreading them on the Rice Krispy Treat. One time I just mixed the chips in with the RKT and he LOVED that better than the one with the topping.

They are selling M&M RKTs at WDW now, so you could try mixing them into it as well.

Good luck! :)

Try the Kellogg's web site they have the original recipe and several variations!

Enjoy!!

I'd imagine that the squares use the same recipe as the sushi - just put them in a pan. We really like these for the kids (DH & I like them too!) for parties, etc. The only thing is that the fruit roll-ups can't be scored to pull apart in strips or with the "shapes" in them. They split & are really difficult to deal with if they're scored.

Good luck!

CRISP RICE CEREAL SUSHI
from the California Grill, Contemporary

8 fruit roll-ups
¼ c butter
10 oz miniature marshmallows
6 c Rice Crispies
16 Gummi worms or
24 Swedish fish
Unroll fruit & place plastic down on cutting board. Melt butter; add marshmallows, stirring until melted. Remove from heat; stir in cereal until blended. Spread ~½ cup cereal mixture quickly over each fruit roll, leaving a 1” border on 1 long side. Put 2 worms or 3 fish lengthwise down center. Begin rolling on side w/o border. Press to seal. Cut into 4 slices. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve with chopsticks, if desired. Yield: 32 rolls.

Oh, Deb! Will you be my mom, please? :) Or can I at least move in with you? I'll do windows. You always have the greatest recipes. I bet your kids LOVE having you for a mom!!! :)

TigH - LOL! I think it's a case of familiarity breeding contempt. When it comes to Disney stuff, I find that there's a lot of good-natured rolling of the eyes around here...from both of them - sometimes even the soon-to-be DIL!

Right now I'm not sure how much they love having me around (read with tongue in cheek) every time they come in the living room, I'm playing Kingdom Hearts. They're both a bit miffed because I beat it the other day. I really need to get a job! ;)

I may be advertising for a replacement for DS after the wedding. Keep your eyes on your local papers! ;)

Deb

PS Thanks for the kind words!
