How is it that I have been to WDW so many times and never heard of this Rice Cream in Norway??? I love rice pudding (as long as it's done right) and I can't believe I haven't atleast seen it! Anyone had it? Anyone have any pictures? Our first day in the parks is at EPCOT and as luck would have it, we are doing breakfast at Akershus, I'm definitely making the bakery my first stop...:yay:
((That's me doing jumping jacks to counteract the pounds I'm going to put on in October))

I also love rice pudding. Rice cream is a lot creamier than pudding--not as much rice. There is also a strawberry puree on the bottom. I thought it was very good.

I saw that on the menu for the Princesses character meal, and wondered what it was. Sounds yummy! :goodvibes

had it last year - it was ok, like a "runny" rice pudding (not as thick)

Rice Cream has become my favorite snack while in Epcot. It is so good. It's nice and thick with a topping of strawberries. You have to try it, I wish I could have some now. :)

It is not as sweet as rice pudding. Me ans DS went back for it again when we snuck out for an EMH. Definately my favorite treat.

I hate rice pudding. I'm Swedish by heritage and rice pudding always makes an appearance every Christmas Eve dinner. Yuckky stuff. I'm just not a pudding/custard kind of person.

But I tried Rice Cream and I loved it! It's not a traditional rice pudding at all. It's lighter and not custard-based. I'll most likely have it again this coming trip.

Rice cream. One of my favorite things to eat, when at Walt Disney World. I usually don't do character meals, but I'm doing the Princess Storybook Lunch at Akershus, just so I can have rice cream.

FYI, at every restaurant we went to they offered rice cream. DD is lactose intollerant and when it was time to have dessert she was offered rice cream and tofutti. She tried the rice cream, but didn't like it.

My DW and I love the rice cream at Kringli Bakery in Norway. Our favorite EPCOT dessert; it's a well-kept secret (until now).
