Rice at Teppan Edo

Our local Hibachi type restaurant does a fried rice on the grill in front of you, which my ds loves..For some reason he doesn't like steamed rice,no clue whyother than picky child syndrome..Does Teppan Edo do this as well or is it Steamed Rice like the All Ears menu states?

No fried rice. They do the noodles on the grill. They serve bowls of white rice on the side (if you ask).

Teppan Edo does not offer fried rice.The reasoning given in several instances was that fried rice is not a traditional Japanese dish. Who knows if that is the real reason (although I think it's correct - fried rice is Chinese). They will prepare udon noodles (like lo mein noodles) with vegetables, and you can probably ask for them without the vegetables.
