DW wants to eat a nice rib place, will never go back to tony romas after a bad experience with the one on Idrive (toilet overflowing and blocked with no2s:scared1: and next to food preperation area and when reported manager didn't want to know)
is smokey bones open?
Paul

Smokey Bones ribs are OK as long as you don't go on 'all you can eat ribs' night.

Manny's Chophouse is a bit of a drive from WDW but their ribs are awesome.

The best ribs DH ever had in Orlando was at Wild Jacks on International Drive but I haven't heard great things about the place in the last couple of years.

I wasn't impressed with Smokey Bones but we got a bad server, he tried overcharging, knew exactly what he was doing, tried to catch me out. Unfortunately that has now overshadowed the food experience. Maybe we should try again but it was nothing special.

Orlando Alehouse have a rib night special on a Monday, 1&1/4 pound of Baby Back for $10.99 and just for you Paul 75 beers to choose from.:thumbsup2

4 Rivers Smokehouse is on our to do list for next time. My brother has been raving about it and he's an even bigger foodie than me (if that's possible).

Thanks for that info Deb. Just put that on our list for August. It looks as though the Winter Park location will probably be most convenient if we go while we're staying at Universal.

Bear in mind that it's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall joint with outside seating (just managing expectations, here!).

Google Maps "2103 West Fairbanks Avenue Winter Park FL" at street level for a look. :thumbsup2

Deb, to be honest, if the food is half as good as it looks on the website, I couldn't care less if it was in a hole in the ground :rotfl2:

We liked bubbalous when we went - not fancy - you sit at picnic tables. mainly locals there.

Waitress was sweet to our then toddler DD - fely very welcome.

I really enjoyed ribs at Applebees - near Junction of 192 & 429.

I had really good Aberdeen Angus ribs at the Cheesecake Factory :)

:goodvibes

We've enjoyed the ribs at Logan's Roadhouse on 192 or Sand Lake/John Young Pkwy junction. Had never been that keen on Logan's (had a bad experience with a nephew having a meltdown in one years ago :rolleyes1) but someone on here recommended it for ribs and so gave it another go. Thanks to whoever it was :)

I love the ribs at Outback! But I love the steak there too.......so I go in fancying ribs and usually end up with steak! When I have had the ribs they were really nice though! :)
