I just checked the menu at allears.net for Yachtsman and saw that the Ribeye steak is no longer on the menu. I was very disappointed at this for this is the MAIN reason on why I picked the Yachtsman. Has anyone been there lately? If so, is the Ribeye still on the menu? Thanks a million!!!

When we ate there on 10/12 it was on the menu:
Oak-fired Rib-eye; 16-oz Rib-Eye with Horseradish Mashed Potatoes and Red Wine Butter $39

The menu changes regularly - all you have to do is request a ribeye if its not on the menu.

I had a ribeye 10/24. I must say, it was good, but my DH's filet was much better. The restaurant has a lot of great food to offer, I wouldn't recommend canceling just for one specific cut of steak. I think it would be hard to leave that restaurant disapointed, but that's just me.

DH ordered this in April and it was horrible, he had to send it back. Very fatty, tough and super greasy. He switched to the filet and it was amazing.

We went to GFC and they have a grilled ribeye on the menu, alot of people around us were eating it and it looked very good.....DH had the NY Strip and it was superb!

Thanks guys for all of the responses. I am really hoping to get the ribeye but like the pp suggested I will not cancel the reservation. I love the Yachtsman and even though my favorite steak is the ribeye, I can always change to the filet or the prime.

It's a great restaurant no matter what kind of steak you have. I was there middle of October and the Ribeye was on the menu. Actually we are there 3-4 times a year and it has always been on the menu. Sometimes I've seen them change the way it's prepared but you can request it anyway you like.

We were there 11/08. The food was awesome. One of our favorite meals.

We are dining at yachtsman during our honeymoon in a few weeks. I have been thinking bout that filet for a while now!

I see they now have a Wagyu (sp?) steak on the menu. Has anyone tried that?
