I mailed my package today. You'll probably receive it Saturday or Tuesday. There was so much stuff that I sent it in a small box so you can just reuse the box when you send it back to me. I included too much postage but it's still cheaper than doing a flat rate box.

I have updated the first post. I have received NewEnglandEeyore, AlexWyattMommy, MomofwDisneykids, MissBubbles, and partyof3. It has been fun to open the packages and see all the neat ribbons, fibers, etc!

Mine will go postal tomorrow morning. I took it with me to mail with another swap today but somehow managed to leave Darlene's address at home. Oops. It hasn't been my day for coordinated postal mailings. I did pick up extra envelopes and mailing lables for the future to hopefully get me a little more coordinated in the future.

Mine actually made it to the post office today, addressed and everything this time! It's the start of the school year and I feel like I've been leaving my brain on my desk. It's a good thing the students have been on their best behavior. I don't think I have the energy to stop them if they get off the walls.

btw...how do you use your ribbons & fibers? ribbons, i use for borders, and fibers for tags. i know, not very exciting, so any other creative ways to use them? since we'd be getting a variety of them soon, i thought i can get some ideas on what others have done w/them. i'm sure you've used it however you did, and i just haven't thought of it. so please share...thanx!

try heading to 2peas.com and searching by technique for fiber or ribbon, they have some absoluately amazing scrappers over there and I have no doubt that you'll find thousands of examples. They're a great site for inspiration.

How rude is it for the ribbon company to NOT PUT THE FULL AMOUNT ON THE SPOOL?

I KNOW!! It is so annoying. I had that happen for my Valentine's ribbon. They were only six feet to begin with and still they short changed me on a roll. So one is short and was marked to send back to me. It was just too much of a hassel for one when it can just be me to not have enough.
