So, since I don't want to take over the Blog thread about being a Rhode Islander... Who here is from RI or goes to school in RI?! I'm surprised that there are so many of us on the boards.

I'm born and raised in Rhody. I go to URI. Business major.

So discuss the greatest, littlest state.

I go to URI! I'm majoring in Industrial Engineering and German.

It's so weird that we both go to URI. I'm a Fall '10 hopeful and I talked to my advisor about how many credits I'd get by doing the program and she said maybe 3.. I'm also going to transfer to Johnson and Wales next fall or spring depending on if I get in the program or not. So it's getting a little hectic trying to figure out what I'm doing next semester. I'm just glad that classes are over and I'm just waiting for finals to be over with.

I hear that! Johnson and Wales offers credit for the program, so maybe you should consider transferring before doing the program... I am jeal, I love that school but URI was cheaper... Anyway, let me know if you have any Qs I'll try to help out a fellow Rhody!

Yeah it's the whole money issue there. I'd have to pay JWU tuition while on the program. So it would be a lot of money.

I am from Rhode Island. I graduated URI May 2009 with a BA in History. I started my program Fall 09 Advantage on May 27 and have extended so I'll be here until May 14. I work in the DAK parking lot and have been lucky enough to extend in my current role.

Yesterday I sang the URI fight song to a family with URI gear and they joined in. It was awesome.

yes! I just went to WDW for Christmas and I am going back in 2 weeks to do the spring College Program. In september, I will be going to DLR as well for the D23 Expo!
