Rhode Island-Part 2 need help again

For those who didn't see my previous post, our best friends are moving to Rhode Island and are looking for a place to live. Since they don't know anyone in RI, I told them I'd ask my DIS pals for help.

They are now considering the towns of Warwick and Cumberland. Anyone have info./opinions on these places? Schools are a priority for them as they have 3 young kids but they also would like a friendly community possibly with a downtown area where you can walk to stores etc. since that's the type of area they now live in. Thanks so much for you help!

My sister and my Mom live in Cumberland. I have a nephew in the Cumberland school system and my sister is very happy with it. They live in the area of the high school and have been there for a number of years. If you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me and I'll contact my sister.
