Rhinestone or Crystal Single Strand Necklace

My niece is getting married in December. She has a lovely necklace/earrings set to wear with her gown, but we are thinking that the chain on the necklace should have a bit morer "sparkle" and not be a plain chain. It is a silver chain with a ruby pendant.

I am looking for a chain...probably 16"-18"... a single strand rhinestone or crystal.

Any suggesitons????

If there's a bead shop in your town, you can find crystals. They would more than likely make one for you.

They used to have them at Claire's, but now they have some funky looking pieces for today's generation of prom/fancy jewelry. If you have a hobby lobby or Michael's they often have a jewelry section that might have something along the lines that you are looking for. If you are crafty or know someone crafty, you could string the beads and make your own. Sometimes, our Michael's has people working who will string them for you and put a clasp on there. Ooh I also forgot...I'm a big fan of etsy.com! You could also check there, if there is something along the lines that you are looking for I know a lot of the artists on there will work with you to make something look closer to what you are wanting! There are a lot of beautiful necklaces and other jewelry on there.
