Seriously, you've got to wonder "why?" Or does someone know the answer and I just don't? Classic? Yes. But why? I've always heard things like the woman feels stuck, no place to go, no money... obviously this does not apply to Rhianna. She just loves him? He said it wouldn't happen again? What?

On the original thread people were saying she'd go back. I thought, "No way. They're nuts." Now, I see, yep, they were right.

I kept hoping that she wouldn't go back, but in my heart I knew that she would. Every story she did in a magazine she talked about how much she still loved him and by this week, I saw a lot of articles where she seemed to be making excuses for him.

She has my sympathy because at this point it is going to be awhile before she realizes she also needs help. Really, domestic violence is one of those things where both people need help. Her for the low self esteem and thinking she deserves to be treated so poorly and him for even thinking it is the way to handle it.

Lets just hope we are not reading far worse news in the coming months about the relationship. I keep thinking about the OJ thing, battered wife finally leaves and she is murdered by the one person who supposedly loved her.

Good luck to her, she will need it.

At 21 my mom had been married for 4 years, to a man who stood her up on their first date, and their relationship had already turned abusive by then. Took my mom 6 more years (and 2 kids) to finally divorce him.


Just looked up his wiki page...he IS a teenager. May 1989.
