My husband and I are going on an Alaskan cruise on this ship in May. Anyone familiar with the ship, the itinerary, tips, etc? Thanks!

Not the itinerary, but I was on that ship in October 2006, and I loved it! It's an older ship, but still beautiful.

We are on the Alaska cruise on the Rhapsody in June of this year. So excited! I've been researching like crazy. You may want to read some of the reviews on the cruisecritic forums (like disboards but for cruisers.) Seems like a great cruise.

One thing I found that has helped with my ocd planning style is the Royal Caribbean Blog. They have a page with links to photos of the daily newsletters from various RCCL cruises past. The Daily Compass is the ship's way of keeping you informed of everything going on each day. If you scroll down on this page http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compass you will find a post for Rhapsody in Alaska from last June. Your cruise (and mine!) should be basically identical to this week, including when formal nights fall, and generally when you are in port. (although those exact times are available on RCCL's website for your particular cruise.)
