RFTT Packet Pick Up

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had experience with picking up the race packet on race morning? Is it really crazy? I would rather pick it up then rather than try and get of to WWOS on Saturday. We have such a short trip and would rather spend the time in the parks. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have picked up my race packet race day morning for the last 3 years. You have to look up your race number, fill out the waiver and turn it in. The procedure is the same as early packet pick up.

The only disadvantage is you won't have time to pick up your packet and move your vehicle to EPCOT and ride a bus back to WWOS before the start (EPCOT parking voucher is in the packet). Not really a problem though since you can catch a bus back to WWOS after the race.

I've never done this but it sounds good.

Is this right near the start? Do you just check your extra materials at baggage check?

A friend did packet pick up for RftT the morning of last year. No problems, the table was set up near the start, very well marked. Baggage check was a few tables over if you want to keep the envelope and papers. My friend took out her race number and threw the rest away.
