RFID Mugs?

Not sure if this is in the right place or not, but just saw on a POFQ thread that the RFID mugs are
at the resort. We will be there in September and our vacation package includes the mugs. Does anyone know if this applies to the RFID mugs? Or, the regular mugs? Thanks for your help.

All mugs will now be RFID. Even the paper cups will now have it.

Is this a way to keep the old mugs out of circulation?
