okay dumb question? When do they expire? Should I cash out now for a RFC gift card and will it still be good in Sept./Oct. of next year?

I logged in last night and saw that they were back. I was so excited!!! Our trip is in January and I really wanted to get some cards before we went.

I have enough to get 2...but haven't decided if we need 2. I had told my sister that gift cards to the DTD restaurants would be good Christmas gifts for us.

I don't know what the turn around time is, but I can tell you how to redeem your points. However, I always allow several weeks for delivery.

On the mypoints website click redeem points, then pick what you want, and from there it is self explainatory. It is very easy.

I requested my gift card on 8/29 and it came in the mail yesterday, 9/6.

I ordered my RFC cards on 9/6 and they arrived yesterday(9/14). So it takes about 1-1/2 weeks.

Can someone check and see if they have an expiration date at all? We're going to WDW in January and I'd hate to order them now and find out they expire in December. I know that I could just wait, but I would prefer to order now so I don't forget or have MyPoints take them off again before I get them.

There is no expiration date on the card but on the back it states:
"We recommend that you use this card within 12 months from the date of purchase. After 12 months of non-use a $1.50 per month administrative fee will be deducted from your remaining card balance, except where prohibited by law."

You should be fine for your January trip.
