Rewards transfer

Can you use someone elses rewards at resorts? For instance, could my father sign up for a Disney Visa...earn rewards and then give them to my son to use??

As long as he transfers them to the rewards card, I think it is possible. I haven't read the rules though so I am not sure if it's ok for them to be "gifted" to someone else.

I gave my rewards card to my son as a Christmas gift for his trip with his girlfriend 12/28/04 through 1/4/05. He used it primarily at the Food Court at POP and did not have a problem. Started with $191 and he came home with $15 balance. There is no name on it, just a number. Hope this helps.

We found this to work out great, that way we can all use the "rewards" but not have to be in the same area/park etc.

I needed the answer to this same exact question. So, I called and asked about it. The rewards cards are just like gift cards. There are no names on them and anyone can use them. Just be careful not to loose them! Also, allow enough time to get your card before your trip.

Make sure if he signs up for one, he uses the free $ 50 rewards deal. I don't remember the code, maybe someone else might. That way he's get 50 just for using the card once.

We got our card at guest relations at DtD and called Bank One from their phone they have available and card was activated in a few minutes. We went straight to lunch and used our card.
