Rewards Redemption Card Locations Question

We leave next week for WDW and I have a rewards redemption card with about $600 on it and was planning to use it for parking and our meals in the parks. But when I look at the list of locations in the parks that take it, it is weak. So I called the 800 # and really didn't get much help when asking about specific locations, (eg Peco Bills, Yak n Yeti). She said it wasn't on the list, but they "might" take it.:confused3

We are mainly going to eat at CS restaurants (kids want to ride rides and not sit in a table service restaurant) but I am worried that I won't be about to use my rewards card at some of the cs locations and I don't want to stand in line to ask only to find out they don't take it.

Anyone been there recently who can provide any additional information on cs locations in the parks. I was counting on the card paying for all of our cs meals during our time there with no "out of pocket meal expenses.":)

Thanks so much.

You should be able to use the at most of the CS places. At least I did not have issues when I used mine at Flame Tree BBQ, Raglan Road, Roaring Fork.

Here is the info from the rewards site

Redeem for most everything Disney. Here are just a few options:

Disney Theme Park tickets, Resort stays & dining
Golf lessons, spa treatments & activities at the Theme Parks and Resorts
Disney toys & games
Disney clothes & accessories
Disney movie tickets, DVDs and Blu-rayTM Discs
Disney music CDs, books & video games
And so much more!

We've eaten at almost all of the CS places in WDW, using Disney VISA Rewards points. The only places so far that wouldn't accept them were the funnel cake stand by the American Pavillion in Epcot, and the little places around the Boardwalk such as Boardwalk to Go and the funnel cake booth.

Has anyone used it at the Sunshine food court at Epcot, the restaurants in Mexico at World Showcase, Yak N Yet at AKP or Peco Bills in MK? There were some choices on our list but weren't listed on the "short" list.

Yes to all of those!

There are very few places that won't accept it. I think the donut stand at Blizzard Beach is another. PP named the boardwalk and funnel stand that are also true. I have never had an issue at any counter service, guessing Epcot around the world would be the ones in question more then others.

Will I have trouble using mine at the souviner places in WDW? I was planning on giving mine $100 to one of my kids for their spending money while we are on vacation in a few weeks.

No, you will not have trouble. Most places take it, in fact I don't know one place that doesn't although I am sure some where at DTD wouldn't. The lego store does.

We've used it all over too. Never had any issues. Peco Bills for sure takes it. I thought Yak & Yeti was owned by someone outside of Disney.

If you are staying onsite, you can charge meals to your room and use the rewards card to pay off the room charge. But almost every place in WDW will accept the rewards card.

I used mine at Y&Y CS (the OP was specifically asking abotu CS) - they took it there - BUT you're right - since they're not Disney owned, they might not take them inside at the TS place.
