I finally got a plain vanilla response from RTV:

you may have experienced and are attempting to restore your missing
points. From time to time, our site is delayed by temporary server
errors and you may need to wait a short while before trying again.
Unfortunately, we are unable to post previous nights' games again and
these errors may affect different players at different times. We are
working to fix this problem, and thank you for your patience during our
Beta Period.
